Not what I expected, nothing really eye catching.

My wife has been beading for some time now but uses this book for ideas and has help her to be more creative in beading. It is a book one would want in their beading library. Recommend it for beginners and novice beaders.

This book has great information and techniques on what tools to use and how to use them. It not only explains how to work them but pictures to follow also. Sometimes it takes three or four times to master a technique, but it comes with experience. So I assembled the needed materials from the list (which is the best thing going..) then on to produce my beaded prize. The instructions are easy to follow and the beaded jewelry looks good too. And I love the little blurps usually at the bottom, telling you what to do with some leftover beeds, or ideas on changing that patern. I was very excited to receive two of her books about beading, and I love them both.

This was one of the 25+ books I borrowed from my library when I needed inspiration to begin my jewelry making hobby.  It is the only one of that huge pile that I am purchasing.  The instructions are clear and simple, and the pictures are beautiful and inspiring.  I liked the variety of projects in this book, many of the others I read focused on a few simple styles, but this gave a lot of great ideas to build off of.
