In questo quarto capitolo sulla vita privata e professionale dell'assassino John Rain, il protagonista accetta un lavoro direttamente per conto del Mossad, i servizi segreti israeliani e rende ancora più intenso il Suo rapporto sentimentale con Delilah, l'affascinante franco-israeliana che ha fatto breccia nel Suo cuore nel capitolo precedente.

Racconto scorrevole e che si fa leggere con piacere, seguendo lo stile con cui Barry Eisler ci ha ormai abituato: non mancano anche qui accurate descrizioni di scene di lotta, di mosse di Judo, di armi da taglio, pistole, fucili e di tutto l'equipaggiamento necessario ad un killer per compiere efficacemente il Suo lavoro. Ricorrenti anche in questo capitolo la spiegazione di tecniche di antispionaggio e di depistaggio utilizzate da Rain per salvarsi la pelle.

La "Furia del samurai" è invece il capitolo successivo, che ci aspetta per un'altra avvincente lettura...

Action packed

I was worried after the third novel in this series had me struggling to finish but this one was just as good as the first two. Loving the continued character developments and one hell of a bombshell at the end. Looking forward to the fifth book now.

Quick moving story. John Rain's struggle between being an assassin and a moral being rises to new heights when he cannot fulfill a contract. His complex relationships with Delilah and Dox are further developed.

I'm hooked on these books! Spy craft and action with great plots and character depth. Give these a try you will not he disappointed.
