Another great Giada cookbook. I eat lots of pasta, so this was a great book to get some new ideas. I will be adding this to my "do want" cookbook list.
I like all of Giada De Laurentiis's cookbooks. This one, "Everyday Pasta: Pasta Recipes for Every Occasion" offers recipes for a wide variety of pasta dishes, including main courses and side dishes. I love pasta, especially with cheese and tomato, a bit more than I probably should, so I definitely enjoy this book. I even like trying some of the other types of dishes that I have not tried before. The recipes are clear and easy to understand and follow. This book would be a good gift for pasta lovers who cook regularly as well as those who are newer to the kitchen alike.
So far everything I have made out of this cookbook has been pretty tasty, especially the New York Strip Steak with Arugula. I don't eat meat, but the pasta with arugula was so freaking good.
I just made the Panzanella and it was a hit! I would use french bread instead of cornbread...and would like to try substituting orange juice and peel for the lemon...
