I absolutely adored this book. Feist is a master storyteller, and it's no wonder he is among my all-time favorite authors. The high-stakes situations, the remarkable characters, and the ever-present danger of sacrifice make this a truly enjoyable read. Each revelation holds great significance for the story, and it always keeps you on the edge of your seat, never certain that our heroes will prevail. The only minor drawback I noticed was the length of the chapters. However, this is simply a result of Feist's unique influences and writing style, and it's something I can easily disregard when considering the outstanding quality of the story. I am extremely excited to continue my journey through Feist's works.

This was a satisfying ending to a mediocre series.

I definitely have things about the series that I would change if I could. For instance, most of my problems with the series are common in many fantasy books of the era.

There are issues such as perhaps a lack of depth in some character developments or a predictability in certain plot twists.

So, I’m hoping they go away or at least get better in the author's later books.

I would truly love it if women had larger roles. It would add more diversity and complexity to the story.

And, if I could get rid of the blind seer from book 3, and every other blind seer I’ve ever read about, I would do so in a heartbeat.

The concept of the blind seer has become a bit of a cliché in the fantasy genre.

That said, I did enjoy the overall plot of the series.

It had its moments of excitement and intrigue that kept me engaged.

And because of this, I will probably continue with the books set in this universe,期待着 to see how the author evolves and improves.
