Listen, Ogawa. My gal, my pal, my mangaka bud. I'm really concerned about the direction of "Tramps Like Us." I think it's essential that we make it a rape-free zone. There should be no more rapist threats in this story. That's simply not the kind of content I want to see in my fun josei manga. Instead, you could focus on other aspects. For example, you can give Sumire Pet Momo a different hairstyle. Maybe something that makes her stand out even more. Or have her interact more with Yuri. Their relationship could add an interesting dynamic to the story. Another option is to show her looking off dazedly in the distance as she contemplates Hasumi. This could create a sense of mystery and longing. Literally anything else would be better than including rape threats. I really hope you take this feedback into consideration and make the necessary changes. 3 stars.

A good volume - Sumire is deeply unhappy. She is completely unsure of the reason why Hasumi is withdrawing from her. Meanwhile, Momo is aware that Fukushima is living with Hasumi. He is in a state of great conflict as he contemplates whether to tell Sumire and also reveal his own feelings.

Eventually, Hasumi and Fukushima end their cohabitation. This comes about when Fukushima reveals that she never actually slept with him. The whole situation is, to put it mildly, a complete mess.

However, this volume loses stars for a couple of reasons. Firstly, there is a pointless chapter about a beach-side hypnotist rapist that has no bearing on the overall plot. It seems to be a random addition that serves no real purpose. Secondly, the issue of Fukushima living with Hasumi is wrapped up far too quickly. Given the excessive and awful lengths that Fukushima went to in order to manipulate Hasumi, it should have been a slower reveal and decision-making process. This hasty resolution detracts from the overall quality of the story.

The pace is so slow that I feel like I'm dying over here.

Every moment seems to drag on endlessly, as if time has come to a near standstill.

I'm impatiently waiting for something to happen, for the situation to change, but it just remains the same.

The slowness is truly testing my patience and making me feel extremely frustrated.

I long for a burst of energy or a sudden acceleration to break this monotony.

It's as if I'm stuck in a never-ending loop of sluggishness, and I can't seem to find a way out.

The anticipation of a faster pace keeps building up inside me, but there's no sign of it being fulfilled anytime soon.

I hope that things will start to move more quickly soon, because this slow pace is really taking a toll on me.

Otherwise, I might just lose my mind in this state of eternal slowness.

All right, let's take a more in-depth look at this amazing series. I'll have to do a full review later, perhaps when I've actually completed it. But right now, I just have to get something down because I'm bursting with thoughts. I finished Volume 11 on Saturday (there are only 14 volumes in total). Since Wednesday or Tuesday, I've been devouring these books at an astonishing pace, like a crackhead sniffing cocaine. They're that good and that addictive. I've barely slept, forgotten to eat, and sometimes even forgotten to bathe because I've been so engrossed in reading this series. My neck hurts more than ever because I'm so lost in the story that I forget to look up properly. I got my friends to read the series on Friday, and they've been hooked since the first chapter. It truly is that captivating.

As good and cute as these books are, they also come with a double-edged sword. They're so good that they can be painful. Ogawa Yayoi is an excellent writer. She has developed the characters so well that I feel like I know them personally, and I want what's best for each and every one of them (except for one character, but we'll get to her later). The main trio, consisting of Sumire, Hasumi, and Momo/Takeshi, are my absolute favorite protagonists of anything I've ever read, whether it's manga or not.

Sumire, the main heroine, is a 28-year-old woman dating Hasumi, an old love from her college days. She's loved him for eight years and has finally been able to act on it. Hasumi, in turn, loves her with a heartfelt and deep intensity that makes me want to cry. He's cheesy and used to say cliche things, but he sincerely means every word. He's the most steadfast, loyal, and faithful guy I've ever read about. His devotion and love for Sumire are so sweet and beautiful that it kills me. He's never wavered in his love for her, even when she's had doubts about hers for him.

Momo is adorable, but there's not much else I can say about him at the moment. There's a lot to him; he's a mixture of an adorable little puppy dog and the worst little sh*t ever. But when it comes to his relationship with Sumire, I have more to say about Hasumi. Anyway, these three are my favorite protagonists, and all I want is for them to be happy and together. It's agonizing that they can't be, as Sumire has to choose between Hasumi and Momo, and it's clear from the start who she's going to pick.

This volume feels like a turning point for the story. I've never seen the end of a book left off so beautifully and perfectly. It promises to build up to an amazing climax and then change the whole story around. Honestly, I'm scared to read it. I've been avoiding Chapter 65/Volume 12 like the plague because I don't want to see how this story plays out. I know how it'll end, but the journey there is going to kill me. It'll be like extracting a giant barb wire fence from the inside of my heart with a pair of oversized garden pliers.

I've been mostly happy while reading this series, but I'm scared of having my faith in the author tested. Seriously, how can you put your heart out there like that and expect it not to be crushed? How do you trust someone's skill and compassion like that? I just want all of them to be happy, but I know it's not possible. They're not the type of people to get involved in a three-way relationship, and Hasumi doesn't even know about it yet. I can see the general direction this is going, and I actually hate it. I hate Fukushima. Her inclusion in this series is the worst example of poor writing. She's a petty, dumb, fickle, shallow bitch who tries to break up Hasumi and Sumire's relationship just because she wants him. She treats him as an object to be obtained and wants his wallet in her lap. Can't we have less cliches in this manga?

But then, things get even worse. Hasumi is taken to a strip club or the equivalent in a karaoke bar. There are women everywhere, and guess who's one of them? Dumb bitch Fukushima. He's startled to see her because they're vaguely acquainted. She's a prostitute, and he doesn't judge her for it, but he is concerned. Some creep from his workplace wants to bring her home, so what does noble Hasumi do? He "buys" her so that the other guy can't and then walks her home. Even she makes fun of him for it. They end up going to Hasumi's instead of her home, and this is where things get majorly fucked up. She drugs and then rapes poor Hasumi. I'm not kidding. It's so wrong. The next scene makes it clear that it's a rape. To top it off, Hasumi wakes up, and she guilt-trips him into thinking that he "took advantage of her." And it works. He feels like shit even though it's obvious that she's been sexually harassing and trying to get him to sleep with her. She blackmails him into keeping her as a "pet," and poor Hasumi has to live with her and all the guilt he feels for "cheating" on Sumire.

Why? Why would the author do this? It's not only morally wrong in so many ways but also extremely problematic. Doesn't the author realize that Hasumi deserves better than this? From what I've seen in the summary of the 12th volume, it doesn't seem like it. Ugh. I love this series. I ordered the first 11 volumes off eBay last night. I'm scared of having my heart broken. I don't want things to end. I started a 13-episode anime in October 2014 and I'm still on episode 11 because it's so cute. I don't think I'll be able to handle it, which is why I'm writing this ramble of a review today as a sort of bookmark in my life. Would I recommend this series? With all of my heart. If it's not your type of thing, don't bother. But if it is, you'll never find anything better.

I also found this volume to be lacking. It gives the impression that very little is being made to seem like a great deal. I understand that all these little details and elements are necessary to build up to the big reveal, but nevertheless, it is extremely boring.

There is a sense of monotony throughout the volume, as if the story is just dragging on without much excitement or progression. The pacing feels slow, and it makes it difficult to stay engaged.

Perhaps more could have been done to make the individual scenes more interesting and dynamic. The characters could have had more distinct personalities and interactions to add some depth and flavor to the narrative.

Overall, while I recognize the importance of the build-up, this volume fails to hold my attention and leaves me feeling rather disappointed. I hope that future volumes will offer more engaging and exciting content.

All over the place, things seem to be in a state of chaos.

However, there is a glimmer of hope as it is finally starting to pick up.

But here's the thing, I really wish it wasn't so reminiscent of the 2000s.

Some of the stuff that was considered okay back then just doesn't seem to hold up in today's standards.

Who on earth thought that certain things were acceptable?

It makes you wonder what people were thinking during that time period.

Maybe it was a different era with different norms and values, but still, it's a bit concerning.

As we move forward, I hope we can learn from the past and make better choices.

Let's leave the less desirable aspects of the 2000s behind and focus on creating a more positive and progressive future.

Oh dang!!

I was really shocked when I heard the news. It was completely unexpected and caught me off guard.

At first, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But as the details emerged, I realized that it was true.

This event has had a significant impact on me and those around me.

I'm still trying to process it all and figure out what it means for the future.

It's one of those moments that you'll never forget, and it makes you realize how unpredictable life can be.

Despite the shock and uncertainty, I'm trying to stay positive and look for the silver lining.

Maybe this is an opportunity for growth and change.

Only time will tell, but for now, I'm just taking it one day at a time.

This review is for the series as a whole with 4 out of 5 stars

I first discovered this story when I chanced upon a jdrama based on this manga a few years ago. The concept of a person being someone else's pet intrigued me. At first, I thought it might be kinky, but it turned out to be quite the opposite - a wholesome and heartwarming tale.

Kimi wa pet follows the story of Sumire, a strong and independent woman who stumbles upon a box containing a young man named Takeshi. After feeding him and learning that he has nowhere to go, she offers him a place to stay under one condition - that he becomes her pet. To her surprise, Takeshi agrees, and their lives are forever changed.

The story is quite lengthy for a josei manga, which allows for a more in-depth exploration of the characters and their relationships. There are not only scenes focusing on the main characters but also on the side characters, which adds depth and complexity to the story. However, with so many characters, it can be a bit challenging to keep track of them all at times.

One of the things I liked about this manga is the character development. Sumire, in particular, undergoes a significant transformation throughout the story. At first, she comes across as cold and distant, but as we get to know her better, we see that she has a vulnerable side. Momo, on the other hand, is a fun and playful character who brings out the best in Sumire.

The romance in Kimi wa pet is also well-developed. Although it is obvious from the start who the main couple will be, the mangaka does a great job of building up their relationship and making it believable. The virtual date scene was especially cute and heartwarming.

Overall, I highly recommend Kimi wa pet to anyone who loves a good romance manga. It not only provides entertainment but also offers valuable life lessons and insights into human relationships. So, if you're looking for a manga that will make you laugh, cry, and think, give Kimi wa pet a try!

A trip can bring both joy and danger to a couple.

On one hand, it offers them the opportunity to explore new places, create beautiful memories together, and strengthen their bond. They can experience different cultures, enjoy delicious food, and have fun adventures. The joy of seeing new sights and sharing those moments with their loved one is truly precious.

On the other hand, a trip also comes with its fair share of risks. There could be unexpected weather conditions, traffic accidents, or even safety issues in the places they visit. They might get lost, encounter unfriendly people, or face financial difficulties. These dangers can cause stress and worry, and even put their relationship to the test.

Therefore, it is important for a couple to plan their trip carefully, take necessary precautions, and be prepared for any situation that may arise. With proper planning and a positive attitude, they can minimize the risks and maximize the joy of their trip.
