这确实是一本很棒的书,能让大家对岗位责任、角色定位有全新的理解,很多习以为常的动作其实都在“坑”自己,也在“坑”别人,不点醒一下可能就意识不到。

There are some good points in the books. Actually you can learn most of them from a short article published by HBR.

This small book only tells few points but very important ones about how to be a better manager and more capable team member.

I realise, when I am member, I do throw a lot of monkeys to my lead because of conditions:
- my position in company is too low to make the decision
- I do not have enough context when cooprating with other teams, but my boss knew better
- I have many options, do not know which one is better due to lack of context, or experiences
- I tried grab my monkey, but my boss always say my way of grabing was not right, and didn't mentor me, and wither grab the monkey by himself or think I am not capable, which made me upset
- or my boss just think I don't have the capability and grab monkey away directly
Well... to be a better team member, maybe dependends on the boss.

And when I am a team lead, I do allow the monkey climb to my shoulder, but I didn't even realize it. Util I read this book.
