The arrival of Wolfina truly enhanced the story, adding an extra layer of depth. However, I do feel that a significant aspect of her character was perhaps overly emphasized through her assets. In my opinion, this was rather unnecessary, but it seems to be a common trait in old-school manga, and unfortunately, it still persists today. It's a bit of a letdown, to be honest.

Nevertheless, volume 2 managed to outshine volume 1 in many ways. The introduction of the new villain was quite captivating, and we were given more opportunities to explore the character of Gamma. He is truly developing into a character with strong 'protective and caring' traits, which makes him all the more endearing.

Overall, while there are some aspects that could be improved upon, the series as a whole is still quite engaging and shows promise for future volumes. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story progresses and what new developments await us.

I have a deep love for Kubo Tite's remarkable artwork. His unique style and attention to detail truly captivate my imagination.

So far, I'm also really liking the characters he has created. Each one has its own distinct personality and charm, which makes them extremely engaging.

However, I'm rather depressed to learn that there are only 4 volumes of this series. I was hoping for a much longer and more extensive story.

Despite this, I still appreciate the work that Kubo Tite has put into these volumes and look forward to seeing what else he has in store for us in the future.

Maybe there will be more installments or related works that will further expand this wonderful world he has created.

In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy and cherish the 4 volumes that I have.

I thoroughly enjoyed this volume to an even greater extent than the previous one.

It truly feels as if the series is now embarking on a more promising and exciting direction.

I find myself completely and genuinely intrigued by what lies ahead and what is going to happen next.

It's almost难以置信 that we have reached the halfway point of the series already.

Time seems to have flown by, and yet, I am more eager than ever to see how the story unfolds and progresses.

Each new volume brings with it new surprises and developments that keep me on the edge of my seat.

I can't wait to continue following the adventures and experiences of the characters in this captivating series.

It has been an incredibly long time since I delved into this series and witnessed its full brutality. However, despite being as violent and bloody as it is, I still have an intense love and adoration for Zombie Powder. It is truly an underrated and overlooked gem.

I must mention that I am extremely fond of Wolfina's introduction into the story. It begins in one way and then very rapidly takes a completely unexpected turn as we are introduced to more of the darker lore surrounding the Rings of the Dead and their modus operandi. It escalates from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye and adds a new and profound level of emotional connection to the story.

At this point, there is not a great deal more to say. I am still reeling from this second read-through and eagerly salivating to get my hands on the next volume once again. Apologies for this rather lazy review.

[Also, a minor gripe: I despise this cover. Smith is featured on the cover of the other editions. I understand the reason for omitting him from the cover of the English release; Smith is pointing his pistol at his temple, which could potentially be misconstrued as a suicidal pose, and I'm certain there were concerns regarding the response from the American audience specifically (considering the original cover was retained for the German release). But I detest this poorly edited and fake cover art, and I simply need to state that. I have a strong desire to purchase a German or Japanese copy of this volume, solely to possess the original art with Smith. The collection appears off-balance with this hideous cover.]

She Really Dragged Him!

I truly enjoyed this volume. It served as an excellent introduction to Wolfina, delving deep into the reasons behind her transformation into the person she is today. We discovered more about the rather unpleasant consequences of meddling with the rings. To be honest, it was really quite gross. Additionally, we were introduced to who I suspect is the most significant villain yet! I am eagerly anticipating seeing the battle unfold. (Also, it is quite clear that Smith definitely cheats at cards.)

This volume has set the stage for an exciting continuation of the story. I can't wait to see how Wolfina will deal with the challenges ahead and how the conflict with the new villain will play out. The introduction of these new elements has added a new layer of depth and intrigue to the narrative, making it even more engaging and captivating. I'm looking forward to the next installment to find out what happens next.

F KUB

Zombiepow

v. 2

F KUB is an interesting concept. It might refer to something specific within a particular context. Maybe it's a code, a name, or an abbreviation with a unique meaning.

Zombiepow, on the other hand, gives an impression of something powerful and perhaps a bit spooky. The word "zombie" often brings to mind the idea of the undead, something that is lifeless yet still has a certain presence.

The "pow" part could suggest a burst of energy or a force. Version 2 of this combination might imply that there have been improvements or changes made since the first version. It could be that the concept of F KUB with the addition of Zombiepow has evolved and become more refined.

Overall, F KUB Zombiepow v. 2 seems to be an intriguing and potentially dynamic entity that could hold a lot of significance depending on how it is used and developed.

Gamma, an S-Class criminal, is on a perilous quest for the fabled 12 Rings of the Dead. When combined, these rings will create Zombie Powder, a substance composed of pure life force that has the power to resurrect the dead or bestow immortality upon the living.

In this volume, Gamma's sidekicks Elwood and Smith take a backseat as Gamma becomes embroiled in the drama of the small town they have arrived in. It is here that he encounters Wolfina, a young reporter/vigilante. She not only defends the town, especially the local hospital that is under siege from ring hunters, but also her comatose brother inside, who was a victim of unprotected contact with one of the legendary rings.

We are also introduced to another great character in this volume, who reveals new and disturbing information about the risks of ring hunting, aside from the competition. The pattern persists, with an equal mix of sketchy fight scenes and plot-moving scenes. The fight scenes' confusing nature might be intended to imply intense movement, but in still ink rather than animated form, it doesn't come across well. While it's not overly difficult to figure out what has happened at the "pause" scenes, having to do so in the first place may deter some readers. The plot, however, is highly enjoyable, featuring a real western flavor set against a background where feudal Japan has been replaced by all the wild gang types one would expect from a manga. It is recommended as part of public collections including manga, especially for its relatively cleaner nature. (Teen age range)

Contains: Implied rape, torture and other criminal activity, cartoon gore.

We are still accompanying Gamma on his arduous quest to locate all of the rings. In this particular volume, he encounters a young journalist named Wolfina. Her younger brother has fallen victim to one of the rings, which has insidiously embedded itself in his brain. Amidst all of this turmoil, we also cross paths with some of Wolfina's adversaries, chiefly Baragne Balmunk and his eerie circus of clowns. Frankly speaking, this景象 is precisely what nightmares are composed of!

There are certain aspects of this series that I am quite fond of. I truly appreciate the ambiance, the remarkable artwork, and the engaging characters of Wolfina and Gamma. However, the main plotline fails to firmly grip my attention, and I suspect that this is because I am perhaps making unfavourable comparisons to Bleach. I yearn for there to be more substance to this series so that I can become fully immersed in this world, yet there are only 2 more volumes remaining. I firmly believe that if I were granted more time to explore these characters and the plot, my enjoyment of this series would increase significantly.
