Every time I see him, it's like a gust of cold wind blows through my heart.

I can't quite put my finger on what it is about him that makes me so uncomfortable.

Maybe it's the way he looks at people, or the way he speaks so little.

There's an air of danger around him that I can sense but can't quite explain.

He seems to be hiding something, and that only adds to my sense of unease.

Despite my misgivings, I can't help but be drawn to him.

There's something about his mystery that intrigues me, even as it scares me.

I find myself constantly wondering what lies beneath his cold exterior.

Is there a hidden side to him that I haven't seen yet?

Or is he truly as cold and unfeeling as he appears?

Only time will tell, but for now, Gin continues to give me chills.

This volume was truly an extremely enjoyable read.

The group finally found themselves shot up into the sky and compelled to enter Soul Society. However, it goes without saying that Ichigo encounters aggression right from the start as one of the soul reapers firmly believes he doesn't belong there. Will Ichigo manage to halt this adversary? Will the others who haven't been separated from their leaders be able to unite? Oh, and in the background, the captains of Soul Society seem to be engaged in their own civil war.

For the most part, all of this functions quite well. Is it predictable? Yes. But it is also fun and exciting due to the beautifully drawn fight scenes, the decent moments of comedy, and the well-paced action. Soul Society is where the story truly begins to shine, and if my memory serves me correctly, it becomes even greater after this. Overall, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.

This volume was truly a delight to read. Although there were no unexpected twists as it paralleled the anime closely, it still managed to engage me fully. The interaction between Ichigo and Ganju was a particular highlight. They have such a unique dynamic. At times, they are uproariously funny, cracking jokes and bickering with each other. But then, in an instant, they can turn serious. You can sense their deep sense of honor and protectiveness towards those they care about.

There was also a significant revelation regarding the fate of the oldest Shiba sibling. This is what prompts Ganju to join Rukia's rescue team. He is desperate to know the reason why his brother died with a smile on his face. The story of the oldest Shiba sibling is set to continue and have far-reaching consequences, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds, even though I have some inkling of what's to come.

Moreover, this volume marks the first time we see all the Soul Reaper Captains together. Aizen begins to set his devious schemes in motion, and my favorite duo, Ikkaku and Yumichika, make their grand entrance! Their Captain, Zaraki Kenpachi, is already on the loose, seeking out the strongest Ryoka. I'm eagerly anticipating the Ichigo/Zaraki fight that I hope will happen very soon. ☺️

The series is truly evolving and getting better and better with each passing installment.

I firmly believe that at this juncture, the equilibrium between the more serious and profound aspects and the humorous elements has reached a much improved state.

To be quite frank, I find this to be a more preferable approach as I have never really found a great deal of the gags to be overly hilarious.

Moreover, one can truly observe that the artistry within the series has already improved significantly.

Kubo has developed his skills at an astonishing pace, and it is truly remarkable and impressive to witness.

His growth as an artist is palpable and adds another layer of depth and quality to the overall series.

It will be exciting to see how he continues to progress and what new heights he will reach in the future installments of the series.

When I initially read volume 9, a thought crossed my mind that its cover might have been better suited if it were swapped with another one. However, after delving deeper into the volume, I realized that Tite Kubo had it all figured out. In fact, it was I who was off the mark! (ha ha ha) It's quite astonishing how the creator knows better than a simple reader like me.

In this volume, even if one doesn't manage to catch all the names, it's still possible to witness virtually all of the Captains within the Soul Society! This is truly a significant aspect, and major kudos go to the creator for mapping out so much in advance. As a result, all the characters fit into place very seamlessly. One can easily discern that the personalities are well-developed through the interactions between them.

As Ichigo and the Team embark on this epic rescue mission and enter the Soul Society, they find themselves separated and now must confront different members of the Soul Society. This is truly amazing as it provides the opportunity to develop all the new characters and further shine the spotlight on all the existing characters in this manga. It's truly great stuff!

Adding one volume every 10 here on Goodreads, so I don't feel like cheating in my Reading Challenge. (But really, cheating against whom?)

I have a deep love for this series. I rediscovered it while on holiday in Italy, where all my tankbons are. I purchased the ones I was lacking and then plunged back into reading the entire thing. It made me extremely happy. I had missed Bleach a great deal. It still manages to send shivers down my spine here and there.

This series has a special charm that keeps drawing me back. The storylines are engaging, the characters are well-developed, and the art is simply amazing. Every time I pick up a volume, I am transported into a world full of action, adventure, and mystery.

I can't wait to continue reading and see what new adventures await the characters. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves manga or anime. It's truly a gem that should not be missed.

Ikkaku is new daddy - the fight scene with Ichigo was AMAZING when his sword snapped (an actual sword dw) I died. That panel was so gorgeous. It really showed the intensity and excitement of the battle. The way Ikkaku's sword broke added an unexpected element to the fight, making it even more thrilling. The description of the panel as gorgeous gives the reader a sense of how visually appealing it was. Overall, this part of the story really stood out and made the fight scene unforgettable.
