To be more precise, I'm in love with Harima. XD

Harima is such an interesting and charming character. His personality is a unique blend of toughness and vulnerability.

Sometimes he can be really tough and show no mercy, but other times, you can see his soft side and the emotions hidden within him.

The way the author has developed his character is truly remarkable.

With each passing chapter, I find myself more and more drawn to Harima and his story.

I can't wait to see what adventures and challenges he will face next.

This manga has definitely become one of my favorites, all because of Harima. XD

I tentatively give this volume 4 stars, although I truly believe it leans more towards 3.5 stars.

I have developed a rather strong attachment to certain characters within the story. Additionally, some pairings, such as Hige x Oujo, have constantly been crossing my mind.

Nevertheless, I am aware that this manga, like many others from this particular time period, has several issues. For instance, it adheres to standard gender roles, which can be limiting and outdated. The representation of immigration also seems to be lacking in depth and nuance.

Moreover, there are elements of sexism present, and the manga appears to only embrace heteronormativity, excluding other forms of sexual orientation and identity. These aspects somewhat detract from the overall enjoyment of the manga for me.

The races and other sporting events have always been my favorite part.

There is something truly exciting and thrilling about watching athletes compete at the highest level. Whether it's a fast-paced running race, a strategic game of football, or an intense match of basketball, the energy and passion on display are contagious.

These events bring people together from all walks of life, creating a sense of community and shared excitement. The anticipation leading up to a big race or game, the cheers and applause from the crowd, and the moments of victory and defeat all contribute to the unique charm of sports.

The image of the word "にく" on her forehead, which means "meat," made me giggle in a rather strange way. In fact, I laughed for so long that I actually became light-headed. However, unfortunately, this was where the laughs both began and ended with this volume.

This volume is entirely dedicated to the Sports Festival, and as expected, a series of on-brand unrealistic hijinks take place. Although it wasn't particularly funny, it was still decently entertaining and provided a nice dose of the unique charm of "School Rumble" that we all enjoy from time to time.

I don't know if I've mentioned this in my previous reviews, but I'll say it here: I truly love the way this series has been translated and printed in English. Here are my two main reasons. Firstly, there are always around six pages of translation notes at the back of every single volume. This is a significant amount, and I love reading them along with the story as they offer valuable insights into the original writing of the manga. It makes me feel like I'm getting a more authentic reading experience, closer to what the author intended. Secondly, after the translation notes, there are always a few preview pages of the next volume in their original Japanese form. This is extremely beneficial for learning Japanese as it allows you to practice reading the Japanese text in one volume and then check your accuracy with the English translation in the next volume. I absolutely love this feature.

And then the festival came, and the characters from 2C are such a bunch of devices, but I just adore them.

Although the protagonists from D are also likable, even though they spend their time competing against their counterparts from C. I laughed in several parts, but I think I remember having a lot more fun with this in the anime.

Maybe it's because the anime can bring the story to life in a more vivid way, with the beautiful animations and the amazing voice acting.

It really makes me feel like I'm part of the story, experiencing all the emotions and excitement along with the characters.

Overall, I'm really enjoying this festival and can't wait to see what else happens next.

At first, this volume didn't really seem all that interesting to me.

Even though it's mainly about the sports festival, it just didn't grab my attention right away.

However, once I got to the last part, my goodness, it was a whirlwind of mixed emotions.

I was completely touched at one moment, then laughing so hard the next.

And then I went "aww" once again.

And OH MY GOD ERI!!

I'm totally shipping Harima and Eri >3<.

It's like the story took a sudden turn and became so engaging and full of surprises.

The way the characters interacted and the emotions they evoked really made me invested in their story.

I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.
