I believe that he is the best mangaka in his genre. All of his stories are so captivating that they send shivers down your spine. Tomie is no exception - an interesting, thrilling and blasphemous plot that is accompanied by an incredibly detailed visual. It's wonderful.

In particular, I would like to thank the publisher for allowing me to read this manga in Ukrainian

I think this is one of Ito sensei's earliest artworks that completely captivates me in awe. (Besides Uzumaki, obviously)

It truly reaches a point where 'too much Tomie' might drive my healthy brain apart. However, as I continue to read, I come to realize that I have a strong desire for answers from this series.

Will Tomie continue to stop regenerating in the future? This is a question that lingers in my mind. Will Tomie's specimen disappear? That is another mystery that awaits to be解开. Can she grow old? These are the questions that I will look forward to in the next volume. I am eager to find out the answers and see how the story of Tomie will unfold.

Шикарний горор. Я в любові із творчістю іто. Це було огидно-прекрасно!

The magnificent roar. I am in love with the creativity of ito. It was horribly wonderful!

This experience of being in love with the unique creativity of ito is truly remarkable. The "magnificent roar" perhaps symbolizes the powerful impact that this creativity has on me. It's not just a simple admiration but a deep and intense love.

The description of it being "horribly wonderful" adds an interesting layer. It implies that there is something both terrifying and captivating about this creativity. Maybe it challenges my preconceived notions or takes me to places I've never been before.

Overall, this feeling of being in love with ito's creativity is a complex and profound one, filled with a mix of emotions and sensations that are difficult to put into words.

This was alright.

I really liked Junji Ito’s art. As usual, it is truly unique, extremely detailed, and highly captivating. The way he portrays the scenes and characters is just remarkable and always manages to draw me in.

However, when it comes to the story, I have to say it was rather lukewarm. I did like Tomie as a character. There was something about her that was quite interesting and mysterious. But unfortunately, the overall plot didn't hold up very well. It felt a bit disjointed at times and lacked a certain depth and coherence that would have made it a truly great story.

Despite the shortcomings of the plot, I still enjoyed the experience of reading it mainly because of Junji Ito’s amazing art. It's always a pleasure to see his work, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next.

This is my first and last acquaintance with Tomie.

Generally speaking, it's not my story at all. I have completely outgrown horror.

But I can say that the manga is excellent. The stories themselves (and there are 9 of them here) are intense and dynamic. In some places, it's a bit frenzied or even funny because it's a little absurd.

Terribly - undoubtedly, the idea of Tomie herself is really cool. However, in each story, she is more or less the same, and especially leads nowhere. Still, I'm glad to have started getting to know this famous author :)

Tomie is a well-known character in horror literature. Her stories often involve elements of mystery, gore, and psychological terror. The concept of Tomie, with her alluring and yet menacing nature, has captured the imaginations of many readers.

Despite the similarity in her stories, there is something about Tomie that keeps drawing people in. Maybe it's the sense of unease and anticipation that her presence creates. Or perhaps it's the way in which the author explores the darker side of human nature through her character.

As I continue to read more of Tomie's stories, I look forward to seeing what new twists and turns the author has in store. Whether or not the stories lead to a specific conclusion, the journey of reading about Tomie is sure to be a thrilling one.

Grotesco is truly the epitome of gore at its finest. The drawings are extremely well done. I have to confess that if I had eaten more for breakfast on the day I started this book, I might not have been able to keep the food down

Tomie is a young woman with a strange ability. She has the power to make men fall so deeply in love with her that they feel compelled to murder her. However, her body has the remarkable ability to regenerate in various ways. There are several loosely connected stories about Tomie that explore the consequences of her power and the madness it brings to those around her.

Junji Ito is truly a star when it comes to coming up with original plots and modifying classic themes. His work on Tomie is a fantastic read that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. The combination of the supernatural elements and the psychological turmoil of the characters makes for a truly engaging and disturbing experience. Whether you're a fan of horror or just looking for something unique to read, Tomie is definitely worth checking out.

The characteristic Ito design is as creepy as it doesn't go and as delicious as it doesn't go :D The plot is also extreme and deeply psychological in many of the stories. And although it's his first work, it shows many signs and when you read it, it seems as if it was clear from then that it would develop into what we know today. So read a little and tell me your opinions. For fans of horror manga and generally of Japanese horror, it will be very much liked. For fans of Junji Ito, it's not just recommended but essential. However, like most of his works, it's not for sensitive stomachs.

A truly disturbing story about a girl who has the ability to make men fall in love with her to the extent that they become obsessed. And these men always end up wanting to kill her or mutilate her in very cruel ways. The full review can be found in the second volume.

This story seems to explore the darker side of human nature and the power of obsession. The girl's ability to charm men so deeply that it leads to such extreme and violent behavior is both fascinating and terrifying. It makes one wonder about the thin line between love and obsession, and how easily things can spiral out of control.

Perhaps the story also delves into the idea of female power and how it can be both a blessing and a curse. The girl's ability gives her a certain kind of power over men, but it also puts her in a dangerous position. It will be interesting to read the full review in the second volume to see how the author develops these themes and what kind of conclusion is reached.

Tomie Volume 1 is the second work of Junji Ito that I have read. The first one was Fragments of Horror which I adored, and it is different from the current one.

Well, I was expecting something completely different from Tomie. I thought she was an entity that killed men in a cruel and fun way, and that, in some way, she was a minimally captivating character.

However, I was extremely disappointed to realize that Tomie is a really boring one. Her only personality trait is to attract men with her astonishing beauty ™, get involved with less attractive women than her, cause the death and madness of some people, then be dismembered, revive and multiply. And the cycle repeats.

Numerous things bothered me in the story. Some I overlooked because it is the author's first manga, like some plot flaws and absurd conveniences, such as in the transplant story when the doctors leave a wing of the hospital, where they were conducting a super important and dangerous research, open for anyone to access. Anyway.

But I think what bothered me the most is that we have no contact with the main character. We always see Tomie through the eyes of other characters, who are also very boring. Because of this, we have almost no important information about this creature.

Well, I will still read Volume 2, but I'm not expecting much from the plot, nor am I expecting any answers to all the questions that were left open here.

As for the graphic work: popcorn and nanquim are always impeccable, only praise.
