That Ending Though

It's the final punctuation mark that gives the whole piece its true significance.

The Yotsuba arc is gradually becoming a bit tedious. It seems to be dragging on a little too long, and I'm starting to feel a bit impatient. However, on the other hand, it is absolutely fabulous to watch Light's plan to unfold.

I love it that his plan works out even though he does not remember the plan! Honestly, I cannot remember what I need to shop for! And he makes a plan, months ahead, forgets it and then it still works out! Mad respect. It's truly astonishing how he can be so brilliant and have everything fall into place like that.

Also, I really like Wedy and Aiber. They are such interesting characters, and I always thought that they would deserve their own story. Their backstories and personalities are so unique, and I would love to know more about them. Maybe there could be a spin-off or something that focuses on their adventures.

AHHH that ending! It was truly unexpected and left me completely stunned.

As I reached the final pages of the story, my heart was pounding with anticipation. I had been following the characters' journey intently, and I thought I had a good idea of how things would turn out.

But then, the author threw in a curveball that completely changed everything. The ending was not at all what I had predicted, and it took my breath away.

The ending of this volume truly made up for the rather slower first half that was overly filled with Misa being annoying.

In the initial part of the volume, Misa's actions and behavior were somewhat grating, which might have caused a certain degree of dissatisfaction among the readers. However, as the story progressed towards the end, a series of unexpected twists and turns occurred.

The plot became more engaging and exciting, effectively capturing the readers' attention and making them forget about the previous dullness. The ending not only provided a satisfying conclusion to the overall narrative but also redeemed the flaws in the first half.

It showed that the author had a masterful control over the story structure, being able to turn the situation around and bring the story to a high point. Overall, despite the initial setback, the ending of this volume managed to leave a positive impression on the readers.

Here, I had a great time again.

It was truly a wonderful experience. The place was filled with excitement and joy. I engaged in various activities that brought me a lot of乐趣.

The beginning of the book was a bit slow-paced, but it really picked up speed towards the end.

I immediately knew that I had to get my hands on the 7th volume.

There are all kinds of crazy questions running through my mind.

The manga was enjoyable enough, to be sure.

However, it didn't manage to convincingly grab my attention until the second half.

In the beginning, it had its moments, but it didn't have that certain something that would make me completely engaged.

The story seemed to be progressing at a somewhat slow pace, and I found myself not as invested as I usually am in a good manga.

But then, something changed in the second half.

The plot thickened, and new and interesting characters were introduced.

The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

It was as if the manga had suddenly come alive, and I was fully immersed in its world.

Overall, while the first half was decent, it was the second half that really made the manga stand out for me.

L and Light zero in on the seven Yosuba members, with one of them possessing a Death Note. It truly feels like an Ocean's Eleven style narrative as L meticulously details the plan to entrap the new Kira.

L's deductive skills are on full display, and the anticipation builds as we watch him close in on the culprit.

Misa emerges as one of my favorite characters in this installment. Initially, I thought she was merely there for eye candy, but she proves to be much more. She plays a crucial role in uncovering the new Kira and has her own set of secrets as her Shinigami Rem reconnects with her.

Her complex relationship with Light and her newfound importance in the story add an interesting layer to the plot.

The moment when the new Kira is on the verge of being caught is electrifying. There is an overwhelming sense of anxiety and tension in the air. You can almost feel the adrenaline and fear surging through his veins.

The pacing is excellent, and it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, eager to see what will happen next.

This volume shows a significant improvement compared to the previous one.

The story has taken a dramatic turn of events, which has filled me with anticipation. I can't help but wonder what crazy twist might be just around the corner.

It's like a rollercoaster ride, with each new development keeping me on the edge of my seat.

I'm eager to see how the author will continue to unfold this thrilling narrative and what unexpected surprises await.

Maybe there will be a shocking revelation that changes everything we thought we knew.

Or perhaps a new character will emerge, adding an entirely new dimension to the story.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be something that will keep me hooked until the very end.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this story concludes and whether my expectations will be met.

Overall, this volume has definitely raised my hopes and made me even more excited for what's to come.

I'm going to give this a tentative 4.5 - 5 stars. I truly think this might be my absolute favourite volume of 'Death Note'! It was chock-full of intense action, filled with intrigue that kept me on the edge of my seat, and had me turning the pages non-stop. And finally, Misa Asane is shown to possess intelligence and actually use her talents. The ending was a bit of a deus ex machina, but at this point, I don't really mind because the whole thing was just wild. I really hope there won't be too many moments like that in the future. (And I can't believe I've only just reached the halfway point. I just can't envision how this story can be stretched to anything more than 2 - 3 sequels.)

On to the next one I guess? Aaah, finally getting that 'really looking forward to reading the next one immediately' feeling. It's always such a great time when that happens.

Dislikes: However, I did find that this book was a little more confusing compared to the rest of the series. I struggled to understand what was going on with the other organization, which made it a bit difficult to fully immerse myself in the story.
