Having discovered their very first out-of-world memory feather, Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane now have a conscious Princess Sakura officially joining them. Well, what's left of Sakura, that is. She has only hazy memories of a desert place and knows her name, but that's about it. With this new challenge at hand, the group embarks on a journey to a second new world. There, a town is suffering under the tyrannical rule of a powerful magic user who might or might not have something in the shape of a feather in his possession.
I'm still thoroughly enjoying the plot and the characters! I'm really eager to find out what the story is behind Fai's backstory. His interactions with Kurogane are also a delight to read. I'm hoping that Sakura will soon become more of a developed character. The way Syaoran has to interact with her, a stranger with a familiar and beloved face, is a great emotional strand, but I also want to see her become her own person, whether she regains her complete memories or not. Onward to volume 4!
I really like the first world they visit. And well, I was surprised that the part where Sakura meets the enemy side was only in the anime. In the end, I suffered a lot. ;-;
It's quite interesting how the story unfolds in this particular world. The details and the atmosphere really draw me in. However, when I found out that certain scenes were exclusive to the anime, it was a bit of a letdown. I had become so invested in the story that I wanted to experience every moment in the manga as well.
Despite this, I still enjoy the overall concept and the characters. Sakura's encounter with the enemy side adds an element of excitement and danger to the plot. It makes me wonder what will happen next and how she will overcome this challenge. I guess I'll just have to keep reading and find out.
Here is an article review. The overall rating is ➳ 2 1/2 stars. The blog Sprinkles of Dreams offers a variety of content. It can be followed on multiple platforms such as Bloglovin’, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter.
The blog seems to cover a wide range of topics, but at times, the content may lack depth. However, it still manages to engage the readers with its interesting posts. The use of multiple social media platforms helps to reach a wider audience. The design and layout of the blog are also quite appealing, which adds to the overall user experience.
Despite its few drawbacks, Sprinkles of Dreams has the potential to grow and improve. With more consistent and in-depth content, it could attract more followers and gain a higher rating. Overall, it is a blog worth checking out for those who are interested in a variety of topics.
Although at the beginning this volume set in a new world didn't completely charm me a lot, there are elements that make it interesting. It might seem that the main plot which is to search for Sakura's feathers could turn into something monotonous and boring. However, that's where the CLAMP make use of new characters and not revealing all the information about the protagonists to maintain the interest, mystery, and curiosity.
There are many things that Fye hides and it is in this volume where he seemed more interesting to me and in my opinion, he catches more attention due to several things that he hints at but which are not fully explained. I have a lot of curiosity to know more about this character. Little by little he is becoming another one of my favorite characters.
As for Kurogane, he remains my favorite character.
This volume has a rather abrupt ending that achieves its purpose, making you want to read the next one as soon as possible to find out how this part of the story ends. So I hope I don't take too long to read the next one.
Highly recommended.
