A few plot points in this volume were not explained thoroughly enough. They seemed to come out of nowhere, which was a bit of a letdown. However, aside from that, I truly enjoyed reading it!
CLAMP appears to have a better understanding of their environments in this volume. They have managed the clutter a bit better than in the previous volumes, which was a significant issue before. Whether this improvement will continue in the next setting remains to be seen. The fight choreography varies from standard to great, depending on the scene.
Throughout the volume, characters often restated plot points that had been discussed earlier. This gave the impression that everyone had short-term memory loss. This could be because of the serialization of the manga, with a chapter being released every week or so in Japan. However, it did slightly disrupt my reading experience. This was also a problem in the previous volumes, so I don't anticipate it disappearing anytime soon.
If you're enjoying the series, I highly recommend reading this volume. It is a great addition that resolves some of the issues that were present earlier. The characters are as lively and dynamic as ever. Good luck!
