This series persists in being delightful. However, up until now, not a great deal has occurred within it, aside from Syaoran and his companions continuously journeying to diverse worlds in order to gather the potent feathers that hold Sakura's memories.

In the present country of Oto, they engage in battles against demons to earn money. Additionally, it turns out that Syaoran's former fighting instructor is controlling some of the demons(?). This volume is not overly eventful. Nevertheless, I am eagerly anticipating witnessing how Syaoran manages a sword after training while wearing a blindfold (this is increasingly resembling a cheesy samurai movie). The angst is both touching and a bit absurd (oh no, she won't be able to remember him, what will transpire!!!1).

Overall, despite the lack of major developments, the series still retains its charm and the anticipation for what lies ahead keeps readers engaged.

Continuing with the story of the previous volume, I must say that it has been one of my favorites. It is so because of both the extremely hilarious moments and what they are living and discovering.

Kurogane and Syaoran, while carrying out their work as hunters, are also gathering information. They are gathering information not only about the situation that the world they are in is living but also to find some clue that will help them locate Sakura's feather.

For their part, Fye and Sakura are also gathering information through a café that they open in the place where they are staying to live.

These situations cause them to get to know more characters who become their friends and who will tell them about some things that are happening in the surroundings.

If Kurogane seemed to me a great character, in this volume he definitely stands out a lot. Beyond his grumpy facade, he shows himself to be an observant person, who cares about his friends and who gives his all to achieve what he proposes. Despite always arguing with Fye, he makes him see that he also cares about him.

Fye, like Kurogane, also stands out a lot in this volume. But he still doesn't make it very clear who he really is beyond being the smiling, relaxed person who has fun making Kurogane angry. We are given few clues and I eagerly await to discover more about him later.

We discover a certain secret of Syaoran and which Kurogane realizes. I really liked that he decided to help him because, as I had mentioned before, he cares about his friends although he doesn't show it openly like Fye.

I adored a certain extremely hilarious moment that happens and for which Kurogane has to be responsible for the others. Seriously, I have really enjoyed the funny parts.

And one of my favorite parts is the appearance of a certain character who has to do with another series of CLAMP, X. I got very excited because I wasn't expecting it. All the nods to X definitely I love.

To finish, I will say that there was a small aspect at the end that seemed very strange to me. A new element that is part of this unexpected character. It's not bad at all, I just don't know what role it will play in the development of the plot. But what it does for sure is increase the curiosity to know how the story will continue.

One of my favorite volumes so far.

I just discovered that this is not only a manga but also an anime. What's more exciting is that it has been translated, and the first movie has already been released. Eek! I'm so excited about this news. As an absolute anime enthusiast, I can't contain my joy. The thought of being able to watch the story unfold on the big screen in a different medium is truly thrilling. I'm looking forward to seeing how the anime adaptation brings the characters and the plot to life. It's going to be an amazing experience, and I can't wait to share it with all my fellow anime dorks.

I really like the fact that this story has a bit more of an extension. It makes it more engaging and interesting to follow.

Moreover, having read xxxHolic, it's truly a delight to notice those tiny little crossover elements. It adds an extra layer of excitement and familiarity.

By keeping the characters in one place for a slightly longer period, they are given more opportunities to interact in a more informal manner. This allows for a deeper development of their relationships and personalities.

The drunken night scene is especially hilarious. Kurogane's reaction is just priceless and adds a great deal of humor to the story. It makes you laugh out loud and enjoy the moment even more.

Overall, these aspects contribute to making the story more enjoyable and memorable.

I just couldn't get enough of this amazing series. It has such a captivating storyline and wonderful characters that I find myself constantly drawn back to it.

So, here I am, rereading it for what feels like the umpteenth time. Each time I read, I discover new details and nuances that I may have missed before.

The author's writing style is so engaging that it makes me feel like I'm right there in the story, experiencing everything along with the characters.

Rereading this series is like visiting an old friend. It brings back all those warm and fuzzy feelings and reminds me why I fell in love with it in the first place.

I'm sure I'll continue to reread it many more times in the future, and I can't wait to see what new discoveries I'll make each time.

While teaming up with fellow hunters, Syaoran embarks on a crucial training journey under the guidance of Kurogane.

Their aim is to enhance Syaoran's skills and abilities, enabling him to better defeat the menacing beasts that pose a threat.

However, as the story unfolds, a shocking revelation awaits. The mastermind behind the raging monsters is none other than someone Syaoran recognizes all too well.

CLAMP skillfully weaves a tale filled with mysteries and non-stop action, keeping readers on the edge of their seats.

How could this particular man be present in a realm that seems so distant from the Kingdom of Clow?

The anticipation builds as the story progresses, leaving readers eager to discover the answers and witness the outcome of Syaoran's encounter with this familiar face.

This series has truly captured my attention. Each book in the series offers a unique and engaging story that keeps the reader hooked from start to finish. The characters are well-developed and their relationships add depth and complexity to the plot. The author's writing style is vivid and descriptive, allowing the reader to easily picture the settings and events in their mind.

One of the things I appreciate most about this series is the way it explores different themes and ideas. It doesn't shy away from difficult topics, but instead presents them in a thought-provoking and meaningful way. This makes the series not only entertaining, but also intellectually stimulating.

Overall, I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good read. Whether you're a fan of fiction or non-fiction, there's something in this series for everyone. So, if you haven't already, be sure to check it out!

Two page spreads!?

Almost one in each chapter! What confidence.

Not only are we feeling the story amp up, but the writers and artists also feel it too!

Er, maybe that’s the other way around.

Syaoran is learning the way of the sword and while adopting a new master (kinda), he runs into an old friend!

The plot thickens.

It's truly amazing how the creators of this work have the courage to present such large and impactful spreads.

Each one seems to add a new layer of excitement and depth to the story.

As Syaoran delves deeper into the world of the sword, his encounter with the old friend brings a new element of surprise.

We can't help but wonder how this will all unfold and what new challenges and adventures await him.

The combination of the engaging story and the stunning visuals makes this a truly captivating read.

We can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store.

For some reason, I really liked the art in this volume.

The detailed illustrations and the unique style truly added to the overall charm of the story.

However, what really earned it 4 stars was the entrance of Seishiro. His mysterious and alluring presence immediately captured my attention.

I can't help but wonder if Subaru cannot be too far behind.

Perhaps his appearance will bring even more excitement and drama to the plot.

I blame the early influence of Tokyo Babylon for my anticipation. That series had such a profound impact on me, and I find myself constantly comparing other works to it.

Nonetheless, this volume has its own merits, and I look forward to seeing how the story develops further.

The story continues as our beloved group remains in the Kingdom of Outo, which is one of my favorite arcs in the entire series.

Syaoran and Kurogane keep fighting the Oni, while Fay and Sakura attend to the café that starts to receive other friendly hunters and various customers.

The main goal is to obtain information as, curiously, the Oni have evolved and begun to attack innocent people in broad daylight.

Syaoran asks Kurogane for help since the lack of vision in his right eye is affecting him when fighting these monsters. Thus, both manage to get a pair of powerful swords that they will carry with them in the following chapters.

Eventually, our little group meets other hunters who become friends and together they fight against this evil that torments the Kingdom of Outo.

However, the end of the volume leaves us with more questions than answers. Seishiro, a young man that Syaoran knew as a child and who taught him how to defend himself, seems to be the one controlling this new category of Oni. But is he truly the one or just an alternate version of the same person, as they have seen in other kingdoms?

Now, for me, this is one of the best arcs because we have it all: heartwarming scenes, secondary characters who are very funny, beautiful costumes, and, most importantly, the development of the main characters is something entertaining to watch. Syaoran is learning how to fight alongside Kurogane, and Sakura is getting familiar with him and everyone, and in some way, they all feel more comfortable with each other. Additionally, the action scenes seem very well constructed and the CLAMP never cease to surprise us with their plot twists.

I can't wait to read the next volume! Totally recommendable.

This volume contains chapters 36 to 42.

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 6 is yet another outstanding installment in this already remarkable series by Clamp.

The entire story unfolds on Oto, revolving around the intense battles of the Oni and the new friendships formed by the main characters.

This is a crucial period for Syaoran as he comes to the realization that relying solely on his feet for fighting is no longer sufficient. He must also learn to handle a weapon. Thus, he turns to Kurogane to be his mentor.

Regarding the restaurant, it remains a mystery as to why Fai and Sukura are operating one. Perhaps they simply needed an occupation since they don't seem to be actively searching for a memory feather.

Once again, Clamp weaves his magic, crafting a captivating tale filled with mystery and mystical powers. The translation and adaptation are superb, making the book an absolute delight to read.

Overall, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 6 is a wonderful read that offers further insights into Syaoran and his disability. Since they are still on Oto, I'm eager to discover what will transpire next with Seishirô in Volume 7. I can't wait to find out!

I gave this book a rating of 9½ out of 10.
