Will they be able to adapt to the new environment and succeed in the race? Only time will tell as their adventure continues.

In the original story, not in Tsubasa, the ending for Ashura and Yasa remains tragic. It turns out that King Yasa has long passed away. His current form is a result of an illusion created by Sakura's feather. Ashura finally takes that feather and returns it to Syaoran. After that, he seizes the Moon Castle and prays for King Yasa to come back to life. However, his prayer is too heavy to be granted, and thus the castle collapses. Ashura refuses to follow his children to safety.

It is only after this that Syaoran discovers that Kurogane and Fye, who are King Yasa's children, are actually his comrades. However, the two deliberately pretend not to know Syaoran so that Syaoran can face them seriously and thereby improve his swordsmanship skills. Here, the part where Kurogane cannot communicate with Fye because Mokona is not with them is further emphasized. The retcount continues, yes. Ahahaha. It seems many people will ask about this this time.

Syaoran doesn't expect that his words to Ashura-ou's subordinates will change the future in the land of Shara. Those words are: If you find the remains of these two kings in the ruins of the Moon Castle, make sure to bury them together. Do not let them be separated.

Take, for example, the Ashura/Yasha story. The culminating scene of this tale is nothing short of a gut-wrenching experience.

As the events unfold, you find yourself completely immersed in the story, unable to tear your eyes away.

The emotions that build up throughout the narrative reach a fever pitch in this final scene, and it's impossible not to be affected.

I, for one, was reduced to a sobbing mess, with tears streaming down my face.

CLAMP's ability to create such powerful and moving stories is a testament to their talent as storytellers.

It's no wonder that their works have gained such a dedicated following over the years.

Whether you're a long-time fan or new to their world, you're sure to be captivated by the magic that CLAMP weaves.

It's truly fascinating to observe how Syaoran believes that the future has been altered due to their actions. In a sense, it is indeed the case, but to a large extent, it can also be attributed to the Witch's doing.

This change is a positive one, yet Syaoran is justified in his concerns. After all, the unknown future can bring both opportunities and challenges.

The new world that has emerged is really interesting and charming. What's more, we get to see Tomoyo again!!! I have always had a soft spot for Tomoyo, and I absolutely adore her interactions with Sakura. Their friendship is so heartwarming and endearing.

It makes me excited to see what further developments and adventures await them in this new world.

We neatly wrap up the Shara arc and then journey to Piffle, which is like a fluffier version of Futurama. I truly appreciate how the Shara arc concluded. It's fascinating to think about how our heroes impact the worlds they encounter. I especially like Fai's response to Syaoran's concerns, which is that they simply have to live with it. They can't halt their search for the feathers, and no matter how hard they try, they will always interfere in some way in every world. I'm glad CLAMP didn't overly explore the consequences of meddling with the time-stream, especially since much of their reasoning behind certain rules is "just because" and the Rule of Cool.

It still astonishes me how the authors manage to give each world a distinct feel. Every country has different outfits, climates, laws, magic, and so on, making every part of the journey seem special. That being said, I'm growing a bit tired of Syaoran waking up and having the plot handed to him by another character (Fai). CLAMP, show, don't tell! I understand it's easier to just state that they have to join the race rather than go through the process of having them adapt to a different world, but it's better than just dropping me in the middle!

Tomoyo makes an appearance again, and this time she has a speaking role! I absolutely adore her character, and the little ways CLAMP toys with expectations and jokes about her enthusiasm for Sakura are wonderful. We also get a peek at Fai's darker side, and I like that Kurogane is one of the few people permitted to see this. Even when he appears distracted and only focused on his goal, Kurogane is always observant.

I'm enjoying the race so far, and I kind of love how Sakura breaks every rule set she's thrown into due to her great power; it's hilarious. I'm looking forward to the next volume and can't wait to see who emerges victorious!
