For such a little book, it was truly a rather heavy read.

Owen seemed to have a plethora of thoughts and emotions swirling around in his head. However, I couldn't help but feel that the conclusion arrived too abruptly and was resolved far too easily.

Moreover, there were several unanswered questions. Why exactly was he recording things in the first place? And why did he plan to type it all up?

I have a general sense of what he might have been intending to do, but if he ultimately decided not to follow through, then at what point did he cease the act of recording?

Despite these concerns, the book was very quotable, and one could clearly perceive the ideologies and unique diction that were characteristic of the 1970s.

Overall, it was an interesting read, and I hope others will also find enjoyment in it.

Happy reading!

My father came until I read it to him.

There were 90 pages in total and I became extremely lazy.

This was the first novel that I read and I was very disappointed.

It was "The Island of Dr. Moreau" by H. G. Wells.

I had high expectations for this book, but it failed to meet them.

The story was not as engaging as I thought it would be, and the characters were not well-developed.

I found myself losing interest halfway through and had to force myself to finish it.

However, I still think that reading is an important activity, and I will continue to explore different books in the future.

Maybe I will find a novel that will truly capture my imagination and leave a lasting impression on me.

This is my all-time favorite YA novel.

When it went out of print, I took the extreme measure of going to the New York Public Library and painstakingly copying every single page.

Sure, there may not be a whole lot of story in it, and it's definitely not for everyone.

But if you were a "sensitive" teenager who had a passion for reading and thinking, and felt a bit different from the rest, then this is the book for you.

It's truly a shame that it's so criminally underknown.

More people should discover the beauty and charm that this novel has to offer.

I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique and thought-provoking read.

You won't be disappointed.

He remembered that he liked it. This time, he also liked it. It is interesting because he doesn't know if he has read anything else by LeGuin that is not fantasy or Sci-Fi.

LeGuin is a renowned author, especially in the genres of fantasy and Sci-Fi. Her works often explore complex themes and ideas, taking readers on adventures through strange and wonderful worlds.

Perhaps this is why he has such a fondness for her writing. The fact that he can't recall reading anything else by her outside of these genres only adds to the mystery and allure of her work.

It makes him wonder what other hidden gems might be waiting for him to discover within the pages of her books. Maybe there are other stories that will surprise and delight him, just like this one did.

Overall, his experience with LeGuin's writing has been a positive one, and he looks forward to seeing what else she has to offer.

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, I was an avid subscriber to a literary magazine named Cicada.

This magazine had a unique charm as it blended realism with different genres, featuring stories written by both teenage authors and professionals.

Every two months, new issues would grace my doorstep, introducing me to the wonderful works of Neil Gaiman, Patricia McKillip, Naomi Shihab Nye, and many others.

While I didn't adore every piece they printed, a significant number of them captured my heart.

In particular, I fell head over heels for \\"Very Far Away from Anywhere Else,\\" which occupied a large portion of one issue.

I remember reading it in one sitting, all cozy and curled up in my aunt's living room chair.

As works by Le Guin go, this one is perhaps on the minor side.

Published as a stand-alone book, it doesn't even reach 100 pages and seems to disappear on my shelf.

I've come across less-than-flattering reviews that criticize its didacticism, simplicity, and quaintness, and I can't really dispute those points.

However, as a teenager, it had a profound impact on me.

There's this concept that poly people often talk about called the \\"relationship escalator,\\" the idea that there's a set order of steps in a relationship - first dating, then exclusivity, then marriage, and then having kids.

But \\"Very Far Away from Anywhere Else\\" was the first book to introduce me to the idea of the life escalator and tell me that it's okay to step off.

It wasn't about running away and hiding in the forest but rather about choosing the parts of life that matter to you and doing them in the order you desire.

When I was sixteen, my grandparents wanted to buy me a car, but I declined.

After some negotiation, I ended up with a copy of the full and complete Oxford English Dictionary, all twenty volumes of it.

Nearly eighteen years later, I still don't have a car, but I still refer back to that dictionary.

I have no regrets.

I owe that choice to Owen and his conflict with his father, who showed me that there was indeed a choice to be made.

This book also taught me other things, like the difference between loving someone and being in love with them, and what it means to create your own meaning of life.

In many ways, these are bigger and more important things.

Other books by Le Guin have also imparted valuable lessons to me, filling my heart and mind.

But sometimes, it's the little things, the small choices, that have the most significant impact on our lives.

I can't say how this book would resonate with someone who didn't encounter it at the perfect moment of adolescence because I was that person.

However, I can tell you that, even on a reread, it still touches my heart deeply.

The score I gave to this book might be unfair to it because it wasn't really a bad book.

I just had high expectations for a top-level fantasy story, and when I read it, it didn't meet my expectations, which made me a bit disappointed.

The literature of the story is definitely the lovely literature of Tolkien. Although the story is short, it has a good charm.

It was interesting for me that Tolkien could write this kind of story, and it was touching and lovely.

I suggest that if you have a little time, don't miss this book!

I truly liked it a great deal.

It is light and extremely pretty, presenting a very real and heartfelt love story.

What makes it even more remarkable is that it contains some philosophical notions and reflections. These elements add a significant depth to the book.

As I was reading, I completely fell in love with it.

The story seemed to draw me in with its charm and authenticity.

The lightness of the narrative made it an enjoyable read, while the philosophical undertones made me stop and think.

It was a wonderful combination that made this book truly special.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good love story with a touch of depth and thoughtfulness.

Kadınlarla erkekler nasıl dost olabilirler veya dost kalabilirler? The relationship between men and women can be quite complex when it comes to friendship. However, if they don't have any sexual feelings towards each other, they can remain friends. But if both of them have such feelings, then the friendship may end and love begins. If only one side has certain feelings, most likely either the friendship will end and love won't develop, or the person who is in love has to hide their feelings and try to make the friendship continue as if nothing has happened.

It seems like the author is questioning love as if it were a book, but of course, can't reach a solution. After all, who has been able to solve it? :( Love is such a mysterious and unpredictable thing that it often leaves people confused and不知所措.

This was cute and fun though certainly from a different era.

The plot, while perhaps a bit too convenient in the end, still had some nice moments that kept me engaged. In fact, I found myself reading the whole thing in just one day.

I can't help but wonder to what extent the acknowledgment of intellectual difference might border on resentment. However, it's hard to say just how reliable the narrator is.

Uuuh. It seems extremely heterosexual and doesn't really seem to subvert the American dream at all. I don't really know. The ending felt really strange, almost as if it came out of nowhere.

But again, despite its flaws, it is cute and it does manage to convey its message about self-acceptance and communication. In that regard, it's uplifting and nice, and it's worth reading for that alone.

Overall, it's an interesting piece that makes you think about different aspects of human nature and relationships.

The story was nice and short. The author didn't overly expand or compress it.

At first, I was afraid that Natalie and Owen would be deeply in love with each other and have romantic conversations, but that wasn't the case.

The characters and their thoughts were wonderful. I also liked the author's character analyses and Owen's evaluations.

This short story had a unique charm. It presented the characters and their situations in a concise yet engaging way.

The lack of a typical romantic plot made it stand out. Instead, it focused on the characters' inner worlds and their interactions.

The author's writing style was simple and clear, which made it easy to understand and enjoy.

Overall, it was a pleasant read that left a positive impression on me.

This book is truly remarkable.

Despite being only 89 pages long, it is both accessible and full of depth.

The way the author treats the characters is kind and gentle, allowing readers to form a deep connection with them.

Moreover, the content is mature and thought-provoking, touching on important themes and issues.

It is no wonder that the teacher at Pine Forest High assigned this book every November and March for three consecutive years.

This shows the high regard in which the teacher holds this work and the value they believe it has for their students.

Reading this book can be a truly enriching experience, providing both entertainment and enlightenment.

It is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good story that is both engaging and meaningful.

I think I often use the term mentor for Ursula K. Le Guin. But the master's abilities in this regard are truly reaching an astonishing level day by day. I actually discovered that she can go beyond reading my thoughts and ideas, and even access the questions I asked in the past. Even though I have passed the growth age, I still repeat the questions that I continue to ask. I believe that many people who are hesitant about their choices regarding the future will find something in themselves when they read this book. And I really enjoyed reading the dialogues between Owen and Natalie, where the truth is presented in a plain way. I really like this way of telling, just as it is, neither lacking nor excessive. There was an inner voice that mostly said "Hah! Exactly this!" when it touched on certain points.

When Owen was listing his sublime moments, it was easy to feel that I understood him unconsciously, but that moment when he felt alienated! I was very surprised while reading. I thought that Ursula explained to me that strange confusion that I couldn't define in a similar situation as if she said "These are what you have experienced." In short, it was again a book that I was hit by very subjective reasons. It's not about always continuing to be afraid of living, but this fleeting; life itself. I remembered again that I live by experimenting to discover what I will live for and what I want, and that even if I am shaken by earthquakes, I must get up again. Fortunately.
