3.0 - It may not be the best ending of all, but it is acceptable.

Sometimes in life, we don't always get the outcome we desire. We strive for the perfect ending, but often, reality falls short. However, this doesn't mean that what we have achieved is not good enough.

In this case, although it's not the absolute best, it still meets a certain level of satisfaction. We should learn to appreciate the efforts we have put in and the progress we have made.

Accepting an imperfect ending doesn't mean giving up on our dreams or lowering our standards. It simply means being realistic and understanding that there are limitations.

By accepting this, we can move forward with a positive attitude and continue to work towards better things in the future.

I can't think of any other way to express it except by having the characters do a live broadcast.

And then, there is one battle after another that is meaningless and dramatic. The characters who can't be distinguished in the drawing.

Shallow characterizations and various uncomfortable descriptions (well, it's interesting in the sense of "the 19th-century UK/20th-century US that the Japanese have in mind"). A strange English article.

...Hmm. Will it be interesting when the "Stand" appears?

Well, the fact that Jonathan died anticlimactically in 1889 and the next scene is in 1938 in NY, and moreover, the grandson Joseph is the main character, is quite interesting in its absurdity.

Finished part 1 of jjba :)

This series, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, seems to be rather niche. It's quite astonishing that on Goodreads, there wasn't even an English volume 4 and 5 available. The lack of these volumes in English might limit the reach and popularity of the series among English-speaking readers. However, despite this, the first part that I completed was still quite engaging and full of unique characters and storylines. I'm really curious to see how the rest of the series unfolds, especially those missing volumes. I hope that in the future, there will be a proper English translation and release of all the volumes, so that more people can enjoy this interesting and somewhat underrated series.

I've finally embarked on the journey of reading JoJo!

This first part has been an absolute blast. The art, despite being a bit old-fashioned, still holds a certain charm and is really quite good.

It has managed to capture the essence of the story and bring the characters to life in a vivid way.

What I'm particularly excited about is the next part. I have a strong feeling that Joseph is going to be an amazing JoJo.

His character seems full of potential and I can't wait to see how his story unfolds and how he grows throughout the series.

I'm sure there are many more exciting adventures and twists in store for me as I continue to explore the world of JoJo. :D

4 stars.

It was a good ending.

I was surprised by the way it ended.

In this last volume, I can say that indeed, the development of Jojo seems to me something impressive.

I still hold my thought that I think it's a Jerry Stu despite everything, but I'm excited to see what comes next.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has always been a unique and captivating series. The storylines are full of unexpected twists and turns, and the characters are both strange and endearing.

In this final volume, the conclusion ties up many loose ends and provides a satisfying resolution to the overall arc. However, there are still some aspects that leave room for further exploration and expansion.

Overall, I would rate this volume 4 stars out of 5. It's a great addition to the series and a must-read for fans of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

So, I was already a die-hard Jojo fan. I had already watched the first three arcs in the anime and read the others. I just made up my mind to finally complete my collection. I entered this with the knowledge that I would adore it, and my reviews are indeed biased. This is a universe that I'm already familiar with and already hold dear.

I will review the Phantom Blood in this comment.

My greatest concern going in was that the manga might have aged poorly. After all, Jojo started in 1987, and usually, literature from that period is difficult to get through because of the prevailing mentality that is evident.

But that's not the case here. Sure, some things did age badly. (I'm thinking of Jojo looking for an oriental poison, seeing an Asian doing karate because of course he does, and immediately assuming that the man must know about the poison.) But overall? It holds up extremely well. Especially for a shonen filled with bulging muscles.

The drawings are not Araki's current style, but they are still solid. And if you're like me and sometimes struggle to understand what's happening in action scenes in mangas, you can always rely on Speedwagon to narrate it.

The manga isn't overflowing with humor, but what it does have always hits the mark and never feels forced or makes you cringe.

But mostly, the characters are lovable. Well, the ones that show up towards the end clearly seem like they just came to spectate (I'm looking at you, Straits), but the others are well-developed and impossible to hate. The dialogues between Jojo and Dio are always a delight to read.

As a whole, Phantom Blood is a remarkable addition to the JJBA universe.

Although it may not be truly revolutionary, it still holds its own charm. Without Araki's distinct art style and the captivating presence of DIO, this installment might have failed to make an impact.

Yet, against the odds, it endured as a series and has become better for it.

Jonathan is a noble figure in a world filled with chaos and malevolence. He has the power to influence even the zombies of cruel warriors who have damned the world they have returned to.

However, that is almost the limit of what we know about Jonathan Joestar. We lack a deeper understanding of his inner self or how he manages to be the person he is.

He is fighting for his lost loved ones and the future of the world, a simple and straightforward motivation.

This is all that Jonathan needs to travel to the ends of the Earth and endure the most horrific tragedies in his pursuit of DIO.

I am eagerly anticipating reading Battle Tendency and seeing how the Hamon arcs conclude and how we transition into the Stand user saga.

I am going to take the last volume of each part that I read of Jojo and count it as the entire reading, so as not to saturate my Goodreads with volume after volume of manga.

It is a very different experience reading the manga compared to having seen the anime. Perhaps because I already knew everything that happens, sometimes it felt a bit boring to continue.

The best thing about reading the original material is comparing the way certain panels are adapted to movement, seeing the evolution of Araki's artistic style, and of course, seeing things that didn't make it into the anime like that prologue with the origins of the mask.

The first part is very curious because it is just setting up the story of everything, but once you come back after having seen what happens later, it takes on this sense of "legend" or founding myth from which all the other parts of the series stem.

I finished it a month ago, but I didn't know how to count each part of Jojo that I read. Currently, I am halfway through Stone Ocean, which I will count on Goodreads until I reach volume 17 : )

I will write down a few words to sum up the whole first arc.

It was truly awesome!

I really had a great liking for it. However, there was also a great deal to learn for Hirohiko Araki. The story contains too many shortcuts. Although it adopts a great and original perspective on Victorian England and has numerous cool ideas, it is overly obvious in the script.

Moreover, the art can be described as bizarre. You can observe how much the author is improving with each passing chapter. But in the first story arc, it is still not good enough to achieve a better rating.

Nevertheless, remember that a 3-star rating means I liked it!

This first arc has its strengths and weaknesses. The original view on Victorian England is captivating, and the cool ideas add an interesting flavor. However, the shortcuts in the story and the obviousness of the script do detract from the overall experience. The art, while evolving and showing promise, still has room for improvement in this initial arc. Overall, it is a decent start, but there is potential for growth and refinement in the future.

Buen cierre dentro del hecho de que este arco ha desvariado demasiado para mi gusto. This statement implies that within the context of a particular situation, there is a sense of a satisfactory conclusion. However, it also indicates that the arc or path that led to this conclusion has deviated too much from what the person would have preferred. It could suggest that although the outcome is acceptable in some ways, the journey or process that led to it was not as smooth or in line with their expectations. This might leave them with a bit of a mixed feeling, perhaps a combination of relief that it has ended well but also a tinge of disappointment due to the excessive deviation. It makes one wonder about the events and circumstances that caused this deviation and how it could have been different.
