A good textbook is available, but Biology 9 is an annoying class. Half of it involves JavaScript self-teaching from textbooks with very little to no time provided. It can be quite frustrating for students. They have to rely on themselves to learn a significant portion of the material without much guidance or dedicated class time. This situation makes it difficult for some students to fully understand and master the concepts. It would be beneficial if more time could be allocated for in-class instruction and discussion to enhance the learning experience.

This book presents an incredibly well-written summary of the extensive and swiftly evolving field of molecular biology.

Originating from a theoretical chemistry background, where we approach molecules from a bottom-up viewpoint, reading this book was like embarking on a journey through a science fiction novel.
