The book I read this quarter is "Runaway Ralph." The author of this book is Beverly Cleary, and its lexile level is 890. The reason for this name is that the mouse leaves his house and travels a long way to a kids' camp. Based on the lexile level, this book was extremely easy to understand. In the story, a gopher made a judgment without actually seeing or hearing the situation. It said that if you let one mouse stick around for a while, a whole bunch of them would come. At the beginning, the dog claimed that its job was to prevent anyone from joining the camp. Then the mouse got caught, but surprisingly, the dog ended up saving it, and later the owner gave the mouse back to Garf. This book was very easy as there weren't many big words. If you are looking to challenge yourself, I would not recommend this book to you. Personally, I didn't really like this book as it wasn't my preferred genre. It was rather boring. I would have much preferred to read a book about sports.
