Good bio. It is very detailed and provides a comprehensive look at Monroe. I have learned some new things about her that I was not previously aware of.

The author has done a great job of researching and presenting the information in an engaging and easy-to-read manner. The bio covers Monroe's early life, her rise to stardom, and her personal relationships.

One of the things that stood out to me was the description of Monroe's struggle with mental health issues. It was interesting to learn how these issues affected her life and career.

Overall, I found this bio to be a fascinating read and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about Monroe.

It's definitive alright.

It is a well-researched and fairly well-written work.

If you're seeking the fluffy and fun side of Marilyn Monroe, this isn't really the book for you.

Rather, it is designed for those who are truly interested in understanding what shaped Norma Jean and how she perceived herself.

To be honest, it can be a bit dry at certain points, which is why it took me a while to get through.

However, then again, I'm not an MM-fanatic.

I simply have a love for biographies and the golden era of Hollywood.

This book offers a deeper exploration into the life and mind of Marilyn Monroe, delving beyond the glamorous facade and into the real woman behind the icon.

It provides valuable insights into her upbringing, her struggles, and her evolution as a person and an actress.

While it may not be the most exciting read, it is certainly a worthwhile one for those who are interested in a more in-depth understanding of Marilyn Monroe.

The first biography I've read on Marilyn Monroe, so I don't have anything to measure it against.

However, many people believe it to be the best and most accurate, and that impression feels true to me.

It is thorough and exhaustive, almost to the point of repetition. But I really appreciated Spoto's attention to the minutia of her life and the way he dispelled all the egregious myths surrounding her legend.

This biography didn't read like a tabloid journalist piece (and there are plenty of those about Marilyn). Instead, it presented a more in-depth and nuanced look at her.

Therefore, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about Marilyn Monroe's life.

I'm truly glad that I read it and got a glimpse at the real woman Marilyn was beneath all the glamour and mythology.

It has given me a new perspective on her and has made me appreciate her even more.
