For instance, the author recommends flaxseed oil instead of fish oil for diabetics. Nevertheless, recent research has demonstrated that flaxseed does not function properly in individuals with insulin resistance. Therefore, fish oil is a more appropriate choice.

Furthermore, the author recommends bread and banana as 'improved' fiber options for diabetics. I suppose that might be the case if one was previously consuming cookies and sugar cereal. However, from a more contemporary perspective, there are likely other, more suitable fiber sources that could be recommended for diabetics to better manage their condition.
