I think the author really took on a task that was perhaps a bit too ambitious with this one.

In today's age, there are so many factors working against the health of our bodies. I, for one, would like to take some precautions against disease.

However, I found myself becoming paranoid and feeling rather helpless. The reason being that there is simply no way I can or would even want to make all the changes that the author recommends.

That being said, there are a few things that I do plan on doing.

For instance, I will actually start using our water filter. This seems like a simple yet effective step in improving the quality of the water I consume.

Another thing is fasting regularly to detoxify my body. I believe that this can help rid my system of harmful toxins and improve my overall health.

Finally, I will be researching "Green Superfood" to see if I can actually stomach it. If it turns out to be beneficial and something I can tolerate, then I may incorporate it into my diet.

Our health industry is currently focused mainly on treatment rather than prevention.

We seem to lack the passion to address the root causes of the world's health problems.

This book was written by a Christian medical doctor who adopts a holistic approach to health.

I really appreciated the combined perspectives presented in it.

Considering that this book was published 20 years ago, there wasn't anything extremely revolutionary.

However, there were indeed some insights that I found enjoyable to learn.

My favorite section was about deadly emotions and how negative emotions can have an impact on our physical health.

The statement "If a negative person can sap my energy, what must that attitude be doing to his or her own body" really made me think.

It was a quick read, and I liked the book.

But I would not recommend it to those who have already spent a lot of time and energy researching holistic living.

They might not find much new or valuable information in it.

Overall, it was an interesting read that offered some good food for thought.

Overall, I truly enjoyed reading this book. It presented a wealth of interesting and valuable information. However, I do have a bit of a wish. I would love it if all the people in the free thinking/alternative medicine world could be in complete agreement and on the same page. But unfortunately, that's not the case.

So, I will just have to continue piecing things together on my own. The information in this book is great, but I do find myself disagreeing with the author on a few points. That's okay though. I can take the information provided here, do some more in-depth research, and figure out what I'm truly comfortable with.

I really loved the wide variety of topics that were covered. It ranged from dehydration to detoxification to free radicals and so much more. The author has really done a deep dive into these subjects. In fact, there was even an entire chapter dedicated to how our emotions can affect our health. That was quite an eye-opening section! Although I appreciate that the author is a Christian, I did notice that his scripture seemed to be misapplied in multiple sections. This made me question some of his interpretations.

Nevertheless, I still believe that this book has a lot to offer and I would recommend it to others who are interested in learning more about these important topics.
