I didn't attempt to read the Appendix Vergiliana/minor poems unfortunately. Maybe I won't ever. These works, although they are part of Vergil's literary corpus, seem to have escaped my attention thus far. It could be due to various reasons. Perhaps I was more focused on his major works like the Aeneid, which is widely regarded as a masterpiece. Or maybe I simply overlooked these minor poems, not realizing their potential value and significance. However, as I reflect on it now, I can't help but wonder what I might be missing. Maybe there are hidden gems within these lesser-known works, waiting to be discovered. Despite my initial lack of interest, I still hold a glimmer of hope that one day, I might find the time and motivation to explore the Appendix Vergiliana/minor poems and gain a deeper understanding of Vergil's literary genius.
