I only read this encyclopaedia due to the WC2010 season.

It was during that exciting time of the World Cup in 2010 that my interest in this particular encyclopaedia was piqued. The tournament had captured my attention completely, and I found myself eager to learn more about various aspects related to it.

This encyclopaedia seemed like the perfect source of information. It contained detailed accounts of past World Cup events, profiles of famous players, and interesting facts and figures.

As I delved into its pages, I was amazed by the wealth of knowledge it held. I learned about the history of the World Cup, the different teams and their strategies, and the memorable moments that had occurred over the years.

Reading this encyclopaedia not only enhanced my understanding of the WC2010 season but also gave me a broader perspective on the world of football. It became a valuable resource for me during that time, and I continue to refer to it whenever I want to recall those wonderful memories of the World Cup.

It's an alright book.

As I have been indulging in the beautiful game of soccer for a considerable period of time now, I decided to explore the books available at my local library related to it. The Kingfisher Soccer Encyclopedia, in particular, caught my eye. It features colorful and somewhat useful pictures that add a certain charm to the reading experience.

However, the small text often acts as a deterrent for many readers. But I, having developed a tolerance for such challenges, managed to overcome my "smalltextitis" and delved into the parts of this mildly captivating book that interested me the most.

Also, a word of advice to others who are about to read this or any informational book. I don't usually have extremely high expectations from such books. After all, their primary purpose is to inform, not to engage in fun, whimsical games and the like. They are designed to provide factual knowledge in a straightforward manner. So, don't set your hopes too high for this book or any other informational book for that matter. While some informational books may偶尔 throw in a laugh or two, for the most part, the language is concise and to the point, with no room for small talk.

All in all, the Kingfisher Soccer Encyclopedia is an okay read if you're looking for some basic information about soccer.
