«And the kind hunter comes forward, armed with a red flower.» This short sentence seems to carry a certain mystery and charm. We can imagine a scene where a hunter, perhaps with a gentle expression on his face, approaches with a weapon in one hand and a beautiful red flower in the other. The contrast between the armed hunter and the delicate flower is quite striking. It makes us wonder what the hunter's intention is. Is he using the flower as a symbol of peace or perhaps as a distraction? Maybe the red flower has some special significance in this context. It could be a sign of love, a token of respect, or something else entirely. As we continue to think about this sentence, our minds begin to fill with various possibilities and interpretations.

I felt that the translation was bad. I don't know... but the book was incomplete. I had a bad feeling as if I wasn't in the text of the book.

Maybe I will read it again to understand more. For now, it can't be given more than 2 stars.

This experience of reading this book has been quite disappointing. The poor translation has made it difficult for me to fully engage with the content. I hope that in the future, there will be better translations available so that I can truly appreciate the essence of the book.

Despite my initial dissatisfaction, I am still willing to give it another try by reading it again. Maybe with a more careful reading, I will be able to discover some hidden gems within the text.

However, based on my current impression, I can only rate it at 2 stars or less. I hope that the author or the publisher will take note of this and make improvements to provide a better reading experience for future readers.

Since the translation [as expected] was full of errors and censorship, I read the original text which was good and interesting. It had some earthy-poetic amorous pieces. But every part that was poetically modified just had a surreal space and I really liked it.

P.S. There is an appendix part in the translation that has no connection to the original book at all.

P.S. 2 The preface and epilogue of this translator are very attractive and seem to be very influenced by that writer, but they don't provide a really good translation. Love is not everything.

« A collection of very short stories by Richard Brautigan »

My first experience with his works was that it took me about 2 hours to finish reading in the end.

Well, I want to express my opinion.

It can't be said that the stories were very superficial and lacked depth, because behind most of them, a sense of uniqueness was felt.

The writings, while being simple and touching, also made you feel melancholy.

...From the text of the book: One day I saw the spirit of Jack. It had been six years since he died and...

We sat on the bed for a while and talked about everything. Each of us had a lot to say to the other.

Then we got up and went into the kitchen and took out two cups of cold water from the refrigerator.

We sat there for a while, drank and talked.

I was really happy to see Jack.

When a person knows the value of others a few years after their death...

There was a special ambiguity in some of his stories for me and...

It conveyed a strange and curious feeling to me, and this was attractive to me.

P.S: In my opinion, to read it, you should read the stories one by one, have a patient approach, and as the saying goes, savor the taste.

So that you can establish a connection with the author, his emotions and his special style.

It is not very suitable for continuous reading.

:) Reading it was a different experience and I became interested in reading more of Mr. Brautigan's works.

I turned away from it. It was boring. So I don't rate it and I'm quitting it right here. Maybe I'll come back to it another day.

This decision might seem sudden, but after spending some time with it, I just couldn't find the interest or excitement that I was hoping for.

It felt like a waste of my time and energy. I'd rather focus on other things that bring me more joy and fulfillment.

However, I'm not completely ruling out the possibility of giving it another chance in the future. Maybe circumstances will change, or I'll have a different perspective.

For now, though, I'm moving on and looking forward to new experiences and opportunities.

I bought this book with the assumption that it was a novel, and when I saw that it wasn't, I was extremely disappointed!

However, since I had already bought it, I had to read it. During Nowruz, I read it with a frown and it didn't bring me any pleasure because the poems had no depth and were extremely superficial. And this superficiality had no appeal for me, an Easterner who was used to the complex poems of the great Iranian poets.

But when I started reading it from beginning to end like an ordinary book, I saw that it wasn't as bad as I thought and I actually enjoyed some of it.

I don't recommend it and I think a much better book could be read instead of this one.

In my opinion, Bradbury doesn't describe life, he pictures it. While I was reading the book, it was like flipping through an album full of pictures from which you can draw more than what the words say.

The book is a collection of short stories that can be read in less than an hour. The stories are always in Bradbury's fluid and unique style.

A part of the book:

Jake sat on the bed and said, "Tiptoe doesn't talk, it's a war."

I said, "You seem to be coming soon too, it's only known from here and there."

He said, "When you go like this, it happens."

Reading this felt like looking through the love of my life's baby photos. It was a truly remarkable experience. Each word seemed to be a precious snapshot, capturing the essence of those early days. I could almost see the innocent smiles, the curious eyes, and the tiny hands reaching out. It was as if I was being invited into a private world, a world filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a beautiful future. The details were so vivid that it was easy to imagine the stories behind each photo. I found myself getting lost in the memories, feeling a sense of warmth and connection. It was a reminder of the power of words and how they can transport us to another time and place. Reading this was not just an act of consumption; it was a journey into the heart and soul of someone I love.

I am so sad. Completely. Here too, it was very small, small, and alternating, and it made me shockingly sad. It was enjoyable.

I am extremely sad. To be exact, it is a profound sadness that envelops me. Here, everything seems to be in a state of smallness and alternation. The situation is so shockingly sad that it almost takes my breath away. However, in a strange way, there is also a certain enjoyment in this sadness. Maybe it is the kind of enjoyment that comes from experiencing the depth of emotions.

It's as if this sadness has become a part of my being, and I can't escape it. But even in the midst of this sadness, I find myself strangely drawn to it, almost as if it is a source of some kind of twisted pleasure.

I don't know why I feel this way, but it is a feeling that I can't ignore. Maybe it is a sign of something deeper within me that needs to be explored.

In any case, this sadness continues to linger, and I can only hope that one day, it will pass and I will be able to find true happiness again.

Jane! I cannot live alone. I must throw my life at someone's feet.

Jane, you see, living in solitude can be so lonely and empty. There is a longing within me, a need to have someone by my side, someone to share my joys and sorrows with. I feel as if my life is incomplete without that special person.

I want to find that one who will understand me, accept me for who I am, and love me unconditionally. I am willing to give my all, to lay my life at their feet, in the hope that they will cherish it and hold it dear.

So, Jane, I ask you, do you know anyone who might be the one for me? Do you think there is someone out there who could fill this void in my heart and make my life whole again?

Words cannot express the profound impact this book has had on me.

From the moment I picked it up, I was drawn into a world of beautiful prose and vivid imagery.

The author's words danced on the page, painting pictures in my mind and awakening emotions I never knew existed.

As I delved deeper into the book, I found myself transformed.

I began to see the world through a new lens, noticing the smallest details and finding beauty in the simplest of things.

This book turned me into a poet, inspiring me to put my own thoughts and feelings into words.

It gave me the courage to express myself in a way I never thought possible.

Now, I look at the world with a sense of wonder and inspiration, always seeking to capture the magic in words.

And for that, I will be forever grateful to this amazing book.

It was a truly strange book.

On one hand, there were those who gave it a resounding five stars, praising its unique charm, captivating storyline, and profound themes. They were completely enamored by the author's creativity and the way the words seemed to dance on the page, pulling them into a world they didn't want to leave.

On the other hand, there were also those who gave it a measly one star. They criticized it for being too convoluted, lacking in coherence, or simply not meeting their expectations.

Interestingly enough, in a way, they were both right. The book had the power to evoke such strong and diverse emotions, which is a testament to its complexity and the fact that it wasn't a one-size-fits-all kind of read.

As for the quote "آدم وقتی واقعا قدر بقیه رو میدونه که یه چند سالی از مرگ شون بگذره," it perhaps adds another layer of mystery and thought-provokingness to the overall experience of the book.

It makes one wonder about the true nature of appreciation and understanding, and how our perspectives can change over time.

In conclusion, this strange book is a prime example of how literature can be both divisive and unifying, depending on how one chooses to view it.
