Putting aside the writing, the author veers away from inspirational fiction to present their own moral views, which isn't what I read fiction for. I'm not reading fiction to have a debate or learn about different views. I don't think it's appropriate, especially when the things mentioned don't really pertain to the plot itself. For example, the quote below from Destination on page 169:

"I can hear the pain in your voice, the forcefulness that comes from self-doubt. Like those pro-choicers, always screaming in crowds to shut out the tiny voices in their hearts that say they're wrong while the pro-lifers stand praying quietly in little groups at the clinic doors."

Destination is trying to convince Tabris to fall and go with them, using Tabris' pain and self-doubt as a means to make him question if God is really what he believes. This makes sense within the context and plot of the story - a demon convincing an angel to fall, the angel learning of God's love even after doubt, a demonstration of God's forgiveness, etc. Leaving it at that would have been sufficient, but the author inserting their views on abortion seems out of place and doesn't really add anything to the plot or characters. Regardless of a person's stance on issues like abortion, it just doesn't make sense to mention it in this context and gives the impression that the author is pushing an agenda.

One of the most beautiful and fascinating stories of angels, God and man that I have ever read is this one.
