An easy read. Makes you feel like you can buy houses with ease and a couple of bucks. We all know this is lie....but it was motivating to me nonetheless.

I'll start off by saying that this book is not for everyone. It's probably best suited for someone who's already familiar with real estate terms, has done a good amount of reading on the subject and maybe even owns a house or two.

The strongest points of the book are its ability to motivate you into action and it's brief introduction to a few investment methods and options available. Don't expect to find any in depth information, but if you don't mind doing your own research then this book is great.

An amazing quest, Buying 52 homes in 52 weeks may look impossible to achieve for average people, but they reached their goal in 9.5 months.

This was a light and enjoyable read. Although it wasn’t packed with investing tips, there were some tidbits to be gleaned, such as:
•tHow to determine where real estate hot pockets are (absolute and proportional population growth, capitol growth of real estate values, weather, landlocked, tax rates, availability of work, high-tech infrastructure, access to markets, susceptibility to disaster
•tWays to find deals and renters: flyers, networking, terms like “owner will carry (OWC) or owner-carry, take over payment, desperate seller, lease-option, make offer, facing foreclosure. Find renter first, then find house.. Make offers and have the money in escrow with agent at all times. STOP foreclosure adds, put a sign in the yard, knock on doors around the property, print flyer and distribute in a radius, put on notice boards of nearby campus/office/bases, etc. Say you “specialize” in renting to _____(policemen, airmen, …)
•tSome tips on lease options: Offer $1000 finders fee rather than a commission, get seller to finance and renters to pay mortgage—no money out of pocket.
•tIf possible, do a quit claim—no risk to you. You own title, they own debt.

Good definitely motivating shows it can be done even though it was done pre 2008
