Surprisingly, it takes a very long time for the son to return. In fact, he is away for a whole 3 months. During this time, one can only imagine the anxiety and worry that both the father and those back home must have felt.

The story thus unfolds with a sense of mystery and anticipation, leaving the readers eager to know what will happen next and how the father and son's reunion will be.

I really appreciate the way the book commences by jogging the readers' memories about what has transpired in the previous books.

It makes for an extremely effortless read.
