I received this as an advance read for an honest opinion.

I truly enjoyed the story of Rafe, a dedicated bodyguard who unexpectedly falls for his charge, Cathy. Cathy is the spoiled stepdaughter of a wealthy man. The story is set in Mexico during the time of the Day of the Dead, which gives it a spooky and engaging atmosphere, making it a great choice for a Halloween read.

I found the story to be both interesting and entertaining. The characters are well-developed, and the relationship between Rafe and Cathy evolves in a believable way. The setting of Mexico during the Day of the Dead adds an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the story.

If the plot sounds familiar, it's because it is a republish that the author has tweaked. However, the author has done a great job of putting their own spin on the story, making it feel fresh and new. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an entertaining and engaging read.
