I liked the book, but I didn't love it.

The story seemed to get lost multiple times, which made it a bit of a struggle to follow at times.

The book, "The New Life," which the protagonist read, had an element of suspense that lasted until its climax.

However, the pace of the story was a little slow for my liking.

Despite these drawbacks, one aspect of the book that really stood out was the beautiful description of Turkey.

It made me want to visit the country and experience its culture and scenery for myself.

Overall, while the book had its flaws, it also had some redeeming qualities that made it worth reading.

I would recommend it to others who are interested in stories set in Turkey or who enjoy a bit of mystery and suspense.

What distinguishes Pamuk is the idea.

How can his ability embrace love with this sincere pattern; without any hesitation or leniency.
The book includes "Osman", the young man who read a book and his life changed. It takes you along with the amazing impact of books, writers, and words within us.
Pamuk believes in coincidence and the love that Osman gathers with gardens. In that very moment when it was gathered by Muhammad just as the book fell into their hands.

The novel also focuses on the talk about Turkish nationalism and the boastful promise of modernity. It confines itself to his old country and weeps for the lost traditions and the simple details that it has lost.

The novel is beautiful and thoughtful, but it is flawed by repetition and cold narration. The idea was truly amazing and it needed more passion than what Pamuk crafted.

A book that I could enjoy.

The most interesting thing that happened to me while reading this book was that I read it on an intercity bus.

When night fell, since some parts of the story were happening on the bus and I was so attracted, I couldn't put the book down.

I read it with the light of my mobile phone screen until dawn.

What a wonderful night!

This book had such a charm that it kept me engaged throughout the journey.

The characters and the plot were so vivid that I felt as if I was a part of the story.

It was a truly unforgettable reading experience.

Even now, when I think about that night on the bus, I can still feel the excitement and joy that the book brought me.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story.

It is definitely worth reading.

I first read the book in 1994. I can't say the same thing for every book I read for the second time, but especially in Orhan Pamuk's books, I read them as if I were reading them for the first time. Of course, I liked it very much again.

Some writers and some books definitely deserve a second reading.

Oh, the book that led me into the world of others. I never imagined that the light emitted from the eyes is the same light that illuminated the drops of the prophets. One day, when the hero of the novel "A New Life" opened the book, I discovered another world. It is not a metaphor or an allusion, but an entry into a world that is not accessible to non-readers. The new life is not just an addition to the old life, but a creation of experiences for many who have passed through silence or written their pains, from which we can understand life through many meanings.
The new life is a delicious experience filled with the taste of adventure, clearly distinguishing between what is real and what we can reach through the experience of accompanying the book. Here, a warning should be given about the Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2006, because he does not write simply. Especially since he considers literary text as a tool for creating a new life. Since his childhood, he has not engaged in any profession except writing those details for the world that we have been unable to say one day. His masterpiece "My Name Is Red" is one of the most beautiful things written in world literature. As for his novel "A New Life", it is a deep and intertwined novel that requires a reader who can penetrate the essence of the text.

The events of the novel revolve around a university student in his early twenties, living a very simple life like the rest of his peers in the Turkish village of (Tashköprü) with his taciturn mother. Mr. Osman reads a book that happens to fall in front of him, which completely changes the course of his simple life. He reads the book dozens of times, then rewrites and republishes it in his own language. Every time he reads the book, there is a strong light shining from it that the young man finds difficult to resist. After that, the hero suffers from loneliness and a real sense of alienation, in addition to a state of terrifying fragmentation and thinking about nothing but the book. At the dawn of the new life, the narrator says, "I read a book one day and my whole life changed. From the first pages, I felt the power of the book to the extent that I believed that my body was lifted from the chair and the table and moved away."
But what is this book? Who is its author? And what are the ideas hidden within it? All of these were unknown and mysterious things. The narrator takes us on a very longed-for journey with Mr. Osman, which took ten years of searching for possible answers to these mysteries. Mr. Osman leaves (Tashköprü) with a beautiful girl he falls in love with named (Janaan), who lost her lover (Mohammad), who went in search of the new life that the book talks about. Then, strange events occur on the bus that they take, as if it is a sign of the transition from one world to another. The novel also explores the issue of identity among Turks, as he does not want Turkish culture to have a pure Eastern character or complete Westernization. He wants a mixture between the East and the modernity of the West in a way that does not forget its citizens' history and does not become a path of forgetfulness or complete regression behind the West.

Ohran Pamuk has written about writing.

In the new life, what is important is not the secrets of life. The heroes who uncover these secrets and prolong their existence, the life of these heroes is written in a book that is both there and not there in a state of confusion. A book that the East is not a land of fairy tales of love and truth that the world is familiar with violence and brutality.

This is the first novel I am reading from the contemporary Turkish writer from Istanbul.

It is a very good and complete novel.

Her zaman eski sahafiye kitapları toplamayı severim, sıfır kitap almaktan ziyade.

His works offer us a unique perspective and a rich exploration of various themes. The stories he weaves are not only captivating but also thought-provoking. Reading his books is like embarking on a journey through different worlds and emotions. We are truly fortunate to have his literary masterpieces available in our language.

It feels like a long and incomprehensible dream, and you are stuck in it, unable to wake up.

This state of being seems to have no end, as if you are trapped in a never-ending cycle.

The confusion and disorientation are overwhelming, making it difficult to make sense of anything.

You try to break free, but every effort seems in vain.

The dream continues to unfold, taking you on a journey that you don't understand.

You wonder if this is reality or just a figment of your imagination.

The uncertainty is both terrifying and fascinating, keeping you on the edge of your seat.

Will you ever be able to find your way out of this dream and back to the real world?

Only time will tell.

Pamuk entusiasmou-me e espero ler em breve \\"Vermelho\\" e \\"Neve\\".

In Türkiye, "Yeni Hayat", which is one of the first examples of postmodern literature, is also regarded as Orhan Pamuk's masterpiece by many critics.

It begins with a very impressive and unforgettable opening sentence: "One day I read a book and my whole life changed."

We enter the story when an engineering student sees this book in the hand of an architecture student girl and reads it. After reading the book, he sets off for the life promised to him. And this journey and what happens during the journey, partly fragmented, partly imaginary, partly real,转悠 in your mind with many ideas.

The central themes in Orhan Pamuk's works are "search" and "lost past". He establishes such connections through these themes that these question marks are completed only when you finish the book.

It is not a recommended starting work for Pamuk, but those who ask which of his books they should read must definitely add it to their list.

A mysterious book that changes the lives of many people.

It is a story of failed love.

There is also a crime of murder.

The surveillance of Turkish life lies between national particularity, Islamism, integration, and globalization.

It is a good novel among a group of citizens and a nuisance among citizens in another place.

This story seems to unfold in a complex and multifaceted background, where different elements interact and collide. The mysterious book holds the key to many secrets and changes, while the failed love and the crime of murder add drama and tension to the plot. The surveillance of Turkish life reflects the challenges and dilemmas faced by a society in the process of modernization and globalization. Overall, this is a story that combines mystery, romance, crime, and social issues, making it an engaging and thought-provoking read.
