Brought joy to my heart and sparked an interesting discussion with my spouse each of us sharing our respective Angel experiences. Set up as a question and answer format. The author is hilarious.

This is an interesting little book, written in question and answer style, that attempts to explain what angels and demons are and aren't. Peter Kreeft reviews what's said in the Catholic Bible about them (not much) and interpolates/interprets based on Church Tradition and the writings of theologians like St. Thomas Aquinas. Enjoyed it and will keep it in my collection of books on the topic.

Not to be confused with the book of the same title by the infamous Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code), Peter Kreeft's "Angels and Demons" is a highly readable and theologically profound study of the Catholic view of angelic and demonic beings. Given the prevalence of New Age-type works in circulation these days that purport to "explain" the spirit world, Kreeft's book is a valuable tool in the Catholic arsenal for explaining what angels really are and how they influence us.

isn't the supernatural unscientific? Yes. Science can't prove it. But it's not anti-scientific, because science can't disprove it either. All the reasonings about all the observations of all the events within the system of nature can't disprove something outside of nature, something other than nature.

causes are invisible effects are not

the appearances of Angels Are Not Angels themselves. If they are either Visions or disguises

Miracles are also unscientific because their cause is invisible. But Miracles are not anti-scientific. Science can't disprove them. When you hear someone claimed that quotation marks science has disproved Miracles quotation mark, please get scientific for a moment. Ask him colon which science? What was the experiment that proved this? Who did it? When? Where? Quotation marks you will quickly see that the so-called science is not science at all but a religion, a face the contest is not between science and Faith but between two faced it is not scientific argument.

we don't see pure spirits, and we can't imagine them. That doesn't mean we can't know or understand them. We can see and imagine the difference between a 5 sided figure and a 6 sided figure and we can also intellectually understand that difference. We cannot, however, since or imagine the difference between a 105 sided figure and a 106 sided figure. Both look to us simply like circles. But we can understand the difference in even measure it exactly so we can understand some things we can't see.

we can't see qualities like good and evil either what color or shape or size is evil? Yet we can understand them. We can't imagine our brains, but not our minds, not our personalities. But we can know them.
