I am very disappointed in this book. I should have realised from the start that it was yet another analysis of Stephen King's works and the movies based on them. I truly don't understand the excessive need to psycho-analyse Stephen King. I often find myself wondering how he feels about the continuous analysing of his works. Surely, he didn't intend all the meanings that the analysts claim he did.
Anyway, I read for pure pleasure, and Stephen King is one of my favourite authors. I don't constantly look for hidden meanings in everything he writes. I'm certain he gets a bit tired of the never-ending discussions about his body of work and what he supposedly meant. He rarely comments on this aspect.
This book just drones on and on about what SK meant in his books and what the directors were trying to convey in the movies. Unless you have a genuine and intense interest in the in-depth analysis of all of Stephen King's books and movies, I would not recommend this book at all.
