This is a remarkable book that takes place in an elite school for young men. Here, they compete for the chance to have a private conference with famous authors, among other things. It's a must-read for lovers of literature.

Published in 2003, the setting is a US prep school in the 1960s. The literature "Greats" mentioned in the book include Robert Frost, Ernest Hemingway, and Ayn Rand. It also delves into President Kennedy's era and aura, as well as the very real and beautifully portrayed "growing-up angst" experienced by both the students and their teachers.

This is my first book by this author. However, I recently read one of his short stories available online at https://americanliterature.com/author.... I was immediately drawn in by the author's writing style and the depth of his characters. I'm excited to see what else this book has in store.
