This book truly had an overwhelming impact on me, to the extent that it brought tears to my eyes.

I'm not the kind of person who cries easily, yet by the end of this book, I couldn't hold back my emotions.

The very fact that it made me cry should be enough to persuade you to pick it up and give it a read.

As I delved deeper into the story, I became incredibly attached to the characters. They didn't just seem like fictional creations; they felt like my own family.

Elizabeth Baxter, in particular, bore a striking resemblance to my mother. So, it was truly heart-wrenching to witness her battle with cancer and ultimately lose her life (spoiler alert).

However, the story took a beautiful turn when the family reunited. Just like the Baxters always do, they came together as one.

And despite the loss of Elizabeth, they will continue to move forward as a united family.

This is undoubtedly a book that you need to read. Just make sure to have some tissues handy because it's bound to tug at your heartstrings.

I am never disappointed with Karen Kingsbury. Her unique and beautiful way of bringing stories together is truly remarkable.

It was indeed sad to have Elizabeth die in the story. However, the experiences described in her books closely mirror the ones we encounter in our own lives as we walk this journey.

Karen Kingsbury truly has a gift for writing. She skillfully allows Christian thoughts and scriptures to seamlessly work their way throughout the narrative.

Yes, I do cry while reading her books. It often takes me longer to read through the tears, but these tears are good tears. They are a testament to the emotional connection that her stories create.

I absolutely loved this story. It touched my heart and left a lasting impression. Karen Kingsbury's writing continues to inspire and move me, and I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.

I just finished this book. WOW!

This series was truly incredible. The Baxter family experiences a plethora of events in their lives, encompassing the good, the bad, and the ugly.

This final book not only ties all the loose ends together but also reveals an additional family secret.

It is evident that God is with them every step of the way. I was so moved that I cried my eyes out at the end.

Karen Kingsbury concludes this last chapter with such powerful and memorable words. They will surely serve as a source of comfort and guidance for me whenever I feel guilty.

I am deeply grateful to her for writing this remarkable series. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming and thought-provoking read.

It is a story that will touch your heart and leave you with a sense of hope and inspiration.

Do not miss out on this amazing literary journey.

I skipped three novels in the Redemption series as most of them were on the waiting list in the library. However, this book provided a fairly comprehensive summary of what had occurred in the other novels. I really liked the story and the struggle it presented, which was extremely deep and haunting. I believe Karen Kingsbury did an excellent job of summarizing the series while also hinting at the plot for the upcoming series.

Since the majority of the character development took place in the earlier novels, I did sense a lack of serious engagement with readers who hadn't read the other novels. The multiple parallel plots could also be overwhelming to follow and were emotionally taxing. However, by reading a couple of chapters at a time, I was able to finish the book. It also made me realize that many people in the real world go through such events without a break, family, or any support.

I'm grateful for this summary and am eager to explore the other series once I complete the remaining novels in the Redemption series. I do recommend reading this book, even though many claim it's a depressing one. If the "ending" seems sad, then look forward to the next series. This is a great book to read during Easter because that's exactly how it felt to me at the end. You never end Easter at Jesus' crucifixion but in his resurrection and his promise to return for those who love him.

This last part was really sad.

The last part of the series, in my opinion, was mostly just a repetition of the events that had occurred in the previous parts.

This book could easily have been condensed into the earlier parts.

The only difference was in the perspective of the events.

But it didn't bring anything new.

It was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for something more unique and engaging in the final installment.

However, despite this, the overall story had its moments and I still enjoyed reading it to some extent.

Maybe if the author had taken a different approach in this last part, it could have made the whole series even better.

Nevertheless, it was an interesting read and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

The last book in this series, which centers on Elizabeth's tragic death from cancer, strayed even further from the bounds of reality compared to the previous four installments.

The introduction of a son born out of wedlock to Elizabeth and John was simply excessive for me. It deviated so greatly from the characters as they had been depicted that their initial encounter and the circumstances surrounding it, especially the timing, seemed completely nonsensical.

Equally implausible was the story of Erin and Sam. First, they were grieving an arranged adoption that didn't occur, and then just a few months later, they ended up with four children. This was truly the final straw that catapulted the entire series into the realm of fairyland.

This was a profoundly sad book, particularly if you have recently endured the loss of a loved one, as it is likely to bring tears to your eyes. I was deeply disappointed in the ending and have no intention of reading either this series or any of its spinoffs.

It's a pity that what could have been a captivating and meaningful series took such a turn towards the unbelievable and the unrelatable.

A good ending to the Redemption Series.

Perhaps it is a bit sad, but I truly appreciate how everything is neatly tied up.

I have been deeply in love with this series from the very beginning.

Karen's writing style is something that I really like.

Her words have the power to bring the characters to life, and I have completely fallen in love with each and every one of them.

Reading a book with Christian values has been a wonderful experience for me.

It serves as a great reminder that I can always turn to my heavenly Father in prayer or conversation, no matter what situation I may find myself in.

This series has not only entertained me but also touched my heart and strengthened my faith.

I will definitely be looking forward to more of Karen's works in the future.

I rarely shed tears while reading books. However, this particular book had me weeping on multiple occasions.

At first, I was reluctant to begin this series as my preference usually lies with fantasy books. Nevertheless, I have thoroughly enjoyed The Redemption series and am eagerly looking forward to continuing to read more books that center around the Baxter family.

I am extremely glad that I took the courage to step out of my comfort zone and give these books a chance. These books are richly filled with elements of family, love, hope, and faith. They are feel-good books that present very real-life situations that can tug at your heartstrings and yet leave you feeling hopeful simultaneously.

It is truly remarkable how these stories have the power to evoke such a wide range of emotions within me. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a heartwarming and engaging read.

I cried buckets reading this and thinking about the last days of my mama’s life on earth.

It was a truly heart-wrenching experience. The words in this piece seemed to touch the very core of my being, evoking a flood of emotions.

As I delved deeper into the story, I couldn't help but be transported back to those precious yet painful moments with my own mother.

The details and the raw emotions described here were so vivid that it felt as if I was reliving those final days all over again.

It made me realize just how much I miss her and how much her presence meant to me.

This article has truly had a profound impact on me, and I will carry the lessons and the memories it has awakened with me always.

After reading the Bailey Flanagan series by this author, I couldn't help but look at her other books.

As I delved into this series, I quickly realized that it features many of the same characters, but on an earlier time line.

This discovery added an interesting layer to the reading experience.

Once again, I found myself thoroughly enjoying this Christian series.

The way the story unfolds over the five books is truly captivating.

Each book builds upon the previous one, revealing more about the characters and their spiritual journeys.

The author's writing style is engaging and makes it easy to become invested in the lives of the characters.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Christian fiction or stories that explore themes of faith, love, and redemption.

It is a wonderful addition to any bookshelf and is sure to leave a lasting impression on readers.

I’m completely wrecked. It’s an absolute, heart-wrenchingly painful kind of wrecked. This book nearly did me in. I can't discuss the trigger warnings here (due to spoilers), but please feel free to ask if you have any concerns.

Karen Kingsbury writes so exquisitely about what it means to be a human being in pursuit of a heavenly Kingdom. She beautifully portrays the ebbs and flows of life that is firmly anchored in faith in Jesus. She doesn't shy away from the real hardships of life, yet it is always wrapped in a blanket of hope.

I'm now an official Baxter, and I'm desperate to know where we're meeting for Christmas this year.

Yes, it's a bit lugubrious, okay? But it's truly worth it. You should read these books.

Star Rating: 5 stars

Content Rating: PG-15. I'd say there's no sexual content or language, but there are heavy themes and discussions of drug use (obviously not glorified) and AIDS.
