This book truly had an overwhelming impact on me, to the extent that it brought tears to my eyes. I'm not the kind of person who cries easily, yet by the end of this book, I couldn't hold back my emotions. The very fact that it made me cry should be enough to persuade you to pick it up and give it a read. As I delved deeper into the story, I became incredibly attached to the characters. They didn't just seem like fictional creations; they felt like my own family. Elizabeth Baxter, in particular, bore a striking resemblance to my mother. So, it was truly heart-wrenching to witness her battle with cancer and ultimately lose her life (spoiler alert). However, the story took a beautiful turn when the family reunited. Just like the Baxters always do, they came together as one. And despite the loss of Elizabeth, they will continue to move forward as a united family. This is undoubtedly a book that you need to read. Just make sure to have some tissues handy because it's bound to tug at your heartstrings.
